We were in the mood for bbq and this hit the spot. There was a diverse choice and something for everyone. The staff was friendly and service was good. This is a chain restaurant so it is the typical chain service and food you can expect.

This BBQ is the real deal. They smoke the meat over pecan, hickory, and mesquite wood. It is not fancy, but the food is amazing!

Tried this place out on the recommendation of an acquaintance. They are located in a little run-down building on Chinden Blvd., but don't let appearances deceive you. Sometimes the little dives can have some pretty good eats. I got 6 big, meaty baby back ribs, half pound of tri tip and two sides, (beans and cheesy potatoes) for $24. As mentioned earlier in review, the ribs were big with lots of tasty meat on them. The beans were sweet and savory with green peppers and carrots. Cheesy potatoes were pretty standard that you get in BBQ joints, but still quite tasty. Couple running the joint were very friendly and even threw in an extra rib, (end piece) for me. Only negative was the tri-tip was a bit tough, with not much flavor. I had take out, but they do have some seating for a sit down meal. I would go back again.

Went here today trying out based on the good reviews here and I'm sad I hadn't gone before! Clean restaurant with a nice ambiance, delicious food that tasted very fresh (great meat, great sauces, great fries, and great veggies), and the service was impeccable. They were also very nice to my daughter and having a toddler, despite her being genuinely well-behaved, can sometimes get us poor service by default. A great experience and I look forward to coming back.

Quite frankly, the Bodacious Pig seems to be an establishment suffering from detached management. We have dined here several times over the years and previously were satisfied with the place, however, on a recent stop found the ribs totally devoid of any character (wishy-washy), the service lackadaisical and the prices aspiring to a level of cuisine and service far in excess of what was received. Do not think we shall return.
