Cons: - 15mins drive from city center, with nearly no shops within walking distance.

Amazing Hospitality with Beautifully Decorated Rooms
Reviewed By Andrew SIf I could give 10 stars I would. I visited Penghu for the weekend with a work friend and decided to stay at Noah's Ark based on the room pictures and positive reviews. The rooms are really well decorated and beds are very comfortable but the owner and his wife really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and help you. You need to rent scooters? No problem. They called a place and drove us there the same evening we arrived. You want to go squid fishing at night? No problem. They booked a trip for us and drove us there. You forgot your passport in the taxi from the airport? No problem. They called the airport police, drove us back to the airport, spoke with the police officers and got the passport back the same night! They even dropped us off at the airport to catch our return flight. Taiwanese hospitality is excellent but the owner's at Noah's Ark are next level. Strongly recommend staying here! You will not regret it.

I won't miss Penghu but I would miss this apartment
Reviewed By ShuaiDa TI rarely write review for people, but this apartment is really too awesome. The lady boss is super friendly, and helpful. Breakfast provided is also awesome and timely. Like super legit nice! As Penghu is pretty boring at night... guess what? This apartment provide ktv system and you can just sing for free and have fun with your friends at night. Would definitely book here again if I'm coming back to Penghu.

Our Bed and Brekfast has been chosen as the top choice of hotels and hostels in Penghu by world famous travel magazin-Lonely Planet. Lonely Planet review: Run by Jan and Sylvia, a Taiwanese couple who decided to swap the rat race for windsurfing and sunshine, the Sunrise is a bona fide B&B with ocean views, fresh morning coffee and English-speaking hosts. Rooms are bright, airy and comfortably furnished, and there's a great communal lounge area with a panoramic view of the ocean. The B&B is in Guoyeh, 12km east of Makung, close to some great beaches. Scooter, bicycle, windsurfing and sea-kayaking equipment are available for rent.

Reviewed By Paul_HK852This is my second visit here this month. Great wind conditions tempted me to visit Penghu. Sunrise B&B is a perfect place to stay. You rent scooters/trailers to take your gear down to the local spot which is only a few minutes ride away. Great storage, cleaning, drying facilities/space. Good breakfast, clean rooms with comfy beds, fast WiFi. The hostess, Karen, and her father Jan are excellent. Really make you feel welcome and offer a great insight into the island along with restaurant recommendations - and invite you to join them usually. They’re both at the kiting/windsurf spot daily. Highly recommend staying here if into Watersports and it’s a good place to stay if just visited penghu for other reasons.

Reviewed By Petra NRemember Seaview Hotel is a great place for relaxing and have fun. The Hotel is very charming and very clean. The breakfast is delicious! The hosts Sammy and David are great people and helps you if you need it. They have also a lovely dog. We're sure we'll come back ?

Close to Beach, Typical Island Living
Reviewed By HannahS226The homestay has three floors, with the second and third floor being ones that they post on websites like Agoda (because those have private bathrooms). There are several rooms on the first floor they reserve for extreme budget travelers like students, all of which have to share ONE bathroom. So technically they can accommodate more people if you have a large party if you contact the owners directly. The homestay is a bit dim and dingy when you walk in, but the rooms themselves are nice and clean (very small space and small bathrooms though). Outside in their yard you can rinse off the sand after coming back from the beach which is very close by. They also provide a washing machine for you to launder your clothes which is nice. Beware that they expect to bring your own bathing towels (which is really bizarre --- who does that?!?!) When you request towels, they give you really small face towels. This bit really should be addressed by the owners.
