Reviewed By LianyOn the plus side: very clean, confortable, and friendly staff..and the breakfast food was great On the not-so-good side: we found that the safety measures against COVID-19 were not great at breakfast : staff were wearing small face shields and not proper masks, and there was no individual food clamps...then a gentleman (owner?) went behind the bar without mask and spoke very loudly, telling someone of. Not great !

Wonderful hotel
Reviewed By yoramk2018We just come back from a wonderful holiday at the Mouton Blue in Talloires, Annecy lake. The hotel situated on the best place on the slope of the mountain, close to the lake but in a quiet area. The decorations is warm and welcoming. The owner, Justine was waiting for us and helped with our luggage to our room with beautiful view over the lake and surrounding areas. The room is large with little balcony and very big bathrooms, all in very good decorating taste. Justine is full of knowledge about the area and can help to choose a restaurant. We love the next doors restaurant Flora.

Reviewed By rodnick1The place is on a steep last hill so if you are not prepared and the weather against you it might be tricky to park there The rooms are basic with a strange cloth lining on some walls which made by young one sneeze and cough often The fridge was broken and we had to use the common one downstairs It is not too close to pistes or ski lifts especially for beginners We were lucky we got it cheap in Dec as it "did not snow for 6 years in Dec" so you need to go Jan/Feb as not too high up

Reviewed By Jon WAlthough located in a suburban street these apartments are not too far from the city centre. It is about a 15 min stroll to the centre via the train station. Our apartment was spacious and the off street parking is a plus. Silvie, the manager, was very pleasant and very helpful with local info. The wifi was consistent and our apartment was clean. It was also a bonus to have access to free washing and drying. A very pleasant stay.

Reviewed By I3669NWgarylVisited the hotel for 3 night over Christmas 2019, Arrived a hotel which is very remote from any town, village etc, showed to our room which reminded us of a hostel, uncomfortable bed, no English on tv, separate shower & toilet but neither supplied basic soap or shampoo/shower gel. Lounge area was very nice with open fire etc, buffet style evening food but very basic, everything spaced to look like they had a large selection which they didn’t, breakfast was much the same, concentrate orange juice that made your eyes water. Not great. Unfortunately we hoped to go skiing as they advertise ski in & out but the bus to slopes starts running in February so without a car your trapped, not enough snow around hotel to do any skiing so packed our bags and said goodbye after 1 night, if your planning on a ski vacation at this hotel book February or March and hope for snow otherwise rent a car at airport or be stuck in middle of Habere Poche miles from anywhere, shame

Reviewed By TangramUKThis is a nice comfortable hotel but finding it can be a problem. My satnav found a car park and it was mainly luck that got me to the hotel. You sort of go through the car park (well around it) to get to the hotel. Once you have found it the car parking is good, the staff are lovely and the hotel is also good.

It is situated at the heart of Les Plagnettes, a hamlet at the start of the park Les Dereches. Les Dereches stretches on more than 5km between winding trails and rivers. It is also the perfect place for a family.

Reviewed By Bat-twingoNous avons passé 6 jours sur place. Le chalet est tres bien aménagé et très confortable. Mention spéciale pour le jacuzzi après les longues randonnées. Les hôtes sont sympathiques, disponibles et proposent des informations sur les environs (activités, restaurants, magasins...). Nous avions une chambre avec vue sur la montagne. Plutôt calme avec quelques bruits le matin et le soir sur le palier mais rien de bloquant. Nous n'avons pas testé le petit déjeuner mais la kitchenette partagée sur le palier (grill, micro-ondes, évier, frigo) était suffisante pour manger et préparer les pique nique.

Very basic and 2 miles from town with no taxi or bus available
Reviewed By Russell CCheap and very basic. Our room smelt damp. We booked because it had a bar and restaurant. Neither were open and meant we had to go to the town center. After a long motocycle ride we did not want to get back on the bikes and wanted a beer. Breakfast was good with a wide selection.
