Reviewed By OutnAbout007Stayed one night on a drive south. Pre-booked. Very clean hotel, with large rooms, comfy beds and air-con. Free car parking in a secure pound. Quiet too, despite being close to the main by-pass. Staff attentive, though spoke no English. Not a problem for us. Breakfast at extra cost was very good - buffet style, with plenty of choice. Would recommend this hotel for brief stopovers.

We had a wonderful weekend and loved the good service and food. Family atmosphere, calme and peaceful, nice pool, breakfasts in the sunny terrasse. The place is good to enjoy peace and cure and also, like us, discover the wonderful nature in the region. We recommend!

Reviewed By coupleoneThis is a simple hotel with a kettle in the room which is a bonus. Very small room with a shower and toilet. The room is for two but you have to take turns moving around. Very comfortable bed and clean room. Quiet overnight. We had to go into town for the evening but would have loved to have eaten at the Hotel. The menu looked tasty and good value. Breakfast was delicious with some yummy breads, fresh fruit too. Covid compliance very good and sanitation of communal areas was constant.

Reviewed By kevin cSuper, super! The room was delightful with a great walk in shower. The bed was very comfortable ensuring a good nights sleep. The room was furnished with interesting features and décor, with a downstairs sitting area having comfortable chairs (shared with the other rooms). Their English is limited, but hey we are in France and tried our best to converse in French. Lots of smiles always helps!! A lovely breakfast was served in the cafe, the best we have had on this trip and very good value for €8.50! Will definitely come back! An absolute delightful place

Reviewed By CookidogVery happy with this hotel bang in the centre of a delightful town. Recently redecorated in muted colours (gone are the citrus hues typical of Styles) . Rooms well designed with enough wardrobe space for a few days stay. Modern bathroom with large hot shower (very hot- beware) and separate loo. Very quiet; good insulation; black out curtains and effective air conditioning. TV and phone. Excellent buffet breakfast with eggs cheese ham fresh orange juice yogurt and cereals. Restaurant complies with Covid precautions. Secure garage 9€ per day (can get full). Staff cheerful and helpful ; speak English. Highly recommended.

Just what was needed
Reviewed By Richard DWe stayed here on our way back to the UK after a ling road trip to Italy. We needed somewhere which would provide a clean and comfortable room at reasonable cost, provided free car parking and which had its own restaurant operating during covid. It provided all of these and was extremely efficient.

Perfect stop over
Reviewed By Pete IUsed this charming little hotel as an overnight stop over on our way down to the Mediterranean in May 19. The hotel is centrally positioned in the village of Arc en Barrois, only a few km from the A5 autoroute. The rooms are on the small side and simply furnished, but are clean and comfortable. The hotel has an excellent restaurant with well priced local dishes, breakfast was the normal simple French affair. We were travelling with another couple and I think we would all happily stay again.

Reviewed By herts193The hotel is in a good location, but in need of refurbishment. It is showing its age especially in the bathroom. There is no air conditioning which is needed, however this was clearly stated when booked.

A basic Motel with smallish rooms & en-suite but with the added benefit of a pool, restaurant and bar all onsite. Nice welcome by owner (? Who was also wearing mask) but that’s where the good customer service ended; breakfast staff outside smoking, saw us come in but let us wait, and wait again when we wished to settle the bill and not wearing a mask the whole time….
