Waiting at airports is always so boring...For bier lovers, this is a good option to spend some time..belgian beer seems to be really highly appreciated.Sandwiches are standard airport food. Place has no special appeal but it's an opportunity to drink a Leffe before leaving the country.

What a shame! Great location in a quiet area. Staff were run off their feet which resulted in poor service. 20 mins to get a round of drinks. Would also expect front of house staff to understand English, but we had to battle through with our broken French. Burgers and beers could not be faulted though. Hi Scott, we are sorry to read that our service was poor the day of your visit. Sometimes, the restaurant is suddently full and we can't always predict it, unfortunately. We are pleased that beside this, you enjoyed your Burger and our beers. We hope to see you again soon!

My wife chose this place because we were looking for some local experience -- moules (mussels). Decent food, but we were charged 7 euro for a bottle of water (listed at 3.5 euro on the menu) and we were then charged taxes in addition to the prices listed on the menu. In Belgium, taxes are already included in the prices posted -- we found out the next day.

Il faut cherché lâendroit, qui nâest quâindiqué que discrètement. Ensuite on ne peut que tomber sous le charme de cette belle demeure art déco. La cage dâescalier sublime et la salle très zen et magnifiquement décorée et éclairée. Lâaccueil du chef et la grande classe du service complètent lâharmonie du moment. La qualité somptueuse de la faïencerie, le raffinement de la mis en place de chaque assiette et lâoriginalité des saveurs. Jâai personnellement beaucoup apprécié quand le chef laisse parler sa cuisine de terroir hispanique, tout en délicatesse, comme dans les mises en bouche, aussi dans lâentrée froide jambon ibérique, tomates, sarriette et vinaigre de riz et surtout dans le second plat de poisson le sandre, romanesco, lomo et sésame. Le désert mâa fortement déçu. Mais câest surtout le choix de vins (ayant pris le menu avec accord des vins) qui mâa parfois paru plus quâaudacieux je dirais incongru, ce fut surtout le cas du sandre accompagné dâun côte roannaise (donc gamay) pour mon palais une hérésie. Jâaurais a part cela, volontiers mis 4,9 mais cela nâexiste pas.

Petit dîner à deux au Bleu du Sud, avec l'envie de déguster un vrai bon couscous. L'adresse nous avait été recommandée par des amis.Sans surprise le couscous était délicieux et très copieux. Le dessert était à la hauteur du reste: tartare d'ananas, une tuerie !Pour le reste, endroit très lounge et calme. C'est très agréable, quand on veut etre un peu au calme.Nous reviendrons!

Superb. Armchairs and tables spread among the (high-tech) brewing vats and a young, laid back staff. Welcoming friendly service is combined with an original menu - the snacks are simple but really good, while most food items on the menu have a small twist to make them interesting as well as delicious. Good wine list - my wife raved over the house rose - but above all their own beers - which even by Belgian standards were superb - in particular try the Charleroy 8%. If this place were in London or Manchester it would be rammed with hipsters raving over their new find - but here a mixed crowd of all ages meant that even a 60+ couple like us didn't feel at all out of place. Really, really good - went back three times!Very nice feedback. Thank you very much, we really appreciate. Hope to see you soon !

Just 50 years old restaurant and most probably the best one in Charleroi: only first quality well prepared fresh products served with a smile and the wish to make you happy! It is definitively not the most sophisticated cuisine, but surely the best one to enjoy the real taste of the best products. The decor is almost the same that the one 50 years ago, but confortable and with the ambiance you may expect to enjoy your tasty meal. Very friendly staff, almost the same from the beginning 50 years ago...Surely my first choice restaurant in Charleroi.

Invited by a colleague we visited this restaurant. They present themselves as a restaurant with local food but you don't have to panic, they alsof serve the typical french cuisine. They have no fix menu (depending on the chef) which confirms the freshness of his food.
