Place 2 Stay offers luxury studio's, a penthouse suite with terrace and a two-bedroom apartment for rent on short & mid-long term in the historical city center of Ghent, only 200 meters from Vrijdagsmark. The Korenmarkt and St-Braafs Square featuring the Belfort are a 5-minute walk from Place 2 stay. Alijn House Museum is 400 meters away.All accommodation is fully furnished and equipped with all modern comfort.Our studios (32-34m²) have a double bed ; dining corner & kitchen with microwave, grill fridge & freezer as well as tea and coffee making facilities; a lounge area with flat screen tv & wifi internet access; Personal bathroom with shower and a heated towel rail. There is individual central heating and videophone.On the highest, third floor there is the penthouse apartment (72m²)for 2 persons. The penthouse has a private terrace (28m²), nice to enjoy the sun on spring and summer days. The penthouse has a dining table, a seating area with a digital flatscreen-tv and free WiFi (internet hotspot). There is an open kitchen with oven, microwave, grill, fridge & freezer and dish washing machine. The bathroom has a double lavabo and bath tube. There is a separate toilet.The two-bedroom apartment (115m²)for max 4 persons has a seating area with a digital flatscreen-tv, a working area (desk) with free WiFi (internet hotspot); a dining table. There is an open kitchen with microwave, grill, fridge & freezer and dish washing machine. The bathroom has a double lavabo and bath tube. There is a separate toilet.There is a separate storage place with wash machine and dryer, iron; available for long stays or on request.There is always possibility to add an additional bed for an extra person. Good but could be better
Reviewed By DFWJWe made our booking via booking.com. The studio received was not corresponding the images of the studio we booked. When we arrived, a friend in Ghent was dropping us off. When we checked in (all via an intercom system) the host noticed there were 3 people iso the 2 booked. We received an immediate lecture that 3 people could not stay in the booked accommodation. That was never our plan. It could have been addressed differently. The person just dropped us off and wanted to make sure all was OK during check-in. The place was clean and comfortable. The information folder was incomplete ad crappy looking. Our 1 hour late check-out request was granted but in the end we did not need it. Upon leaving one of the hosts was cleaning another studio. She asked us: are you leaving, did you leave the key? By the way did you pay? Yes we did via Booking. Ok Bye! That was it. OK place but for 3 star the service, even if you want to limit contact, could have a different approach

Ideal location in a lovely apartment just too noisy
Reviewed By Becky HOn first impressions this apartment is ideal hidden away but so close to the square and sites. The apartment is ideal with an induction hob for cooking on days you want to eat indoors. Bathroom is lovely, bed is comfortable and big and living area spacious Our only fault was every night it was so noisy from other residents but the noise would start at 1am and be until 4am so as you can imagine you are exhausted by the end of the stay Such a shame as everything else was near perfect but writing this early in rhe morning due to 3 nights of no sleep wasn't great! If you are young then great but we came here for the walking tours and sites and although wasn't going to sleep until midnight ourselves didn't expect the noise every night for 4 days

They have free lockers to store you luggage after checkout if you plan on exploring. The hotel is centrally located and easy to get to most places. We had a great stay and can’t recommend this place enough!

All units feature a flat-screen TV. Some units have a sitting and/or dining area. There is also a kitchenette, fitted with a refrigerator. Location, comfort, furnishings, all excellent
Reviewed By D EWe made Gent our home base while in Belgium and were very happy with our decision about the city and DrabStraat2. We stayed four nights while we explored other areas of Belgium. We walked everywhere and enjoyed popping into little shops and found an amazing bakery, Himschoot, and an outstanding local mustard shop, Tierenteyn-Verlent. While the apartment borders a very busy area along the canal, the room was very quiet. One problem was it is above a wonderful chocolate shop that we could not resist stopping in every day we were there. Great chocolates! The apartment was quite large and included a gas fireplace that was cozy to curl up in front of on the chillier evenings. The Kitchen had everything you could want to prepare meals. We usually ate lunch out and had bread and cheese and meats for a lighter dinner, but we did cook breakfast. Ingrid stocked the refrigerator with samples of local beers and water. We enjoyed tasting the various kinds and found a favorite. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment was meticulously clean. We loved our stay here and highly recommend Drabstraat 2. There was an also an amazing linen shop across the street that I recommend.

We have 3 modern studios available in the same building in the center of Ghent. Each Studio can accomodate up to 4 persons. The double bed folds into the wall and becomes a table. The two single beds also fold into the wall to have more space available during daytime. There is a well equipped kitchinette (induction stove, micro wave, dishwasher, toaster and waterboiler, senseo coffeemachine) Airco, smart TV, Free WIFI Tramway nr 1 passes in the street and travels through the center of Ghent to the central station and Flanders expo.

Reviewed By ayaa1977We stayed here for 3 nights and I must say the place exceeded our expectations. The modern studio was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed and beyond. Moreovet the communication with the owners Christel and Sabine was very helpful before we arrived. I would definitely recommend staying here since it is in a very nice residential neighborhood a mere 10 min walk from center with the a tram stop just 1 min walk from the house. Definitely a high point in our visit.

В номере большая кровать, диван при необходимости можно поставить кровати дополнительно, есть в наличии. Постельные принадлежности новые, куча всяких полотенец, моющее в полном комплекте: шампунь, Кондиционер, гель для душа. Ванная комната: умывальник на две чаши, ванна, душ, есть окно. Кухня отдельно, большая. На кухне большой стол, холодильник, кофемашина, стиральная машина, машина для сушки белья, стиральные принадлежности (порошок, кондиционер) все в наличии, утюг и стиральная доска. Есть подсолнечное и оливковое масло, куча всяких специй. Набор посуды достойный, фужеры для вина, пива рюмочки для более крепких напитков. В бесплатном минибаре, для нас кока-кола, пиво и две бутылки свежей питьевой воды. Отличный набор инвентаря. Тихо, тепло, ни кто и не что не беспокоит. Найти легко, до центра рядом. Wifi бесплатный, работает хорошо.
