Reviewed By PhilmcfcJonesStayed at this hotel from 02/06/22 to 05/06/22 and must say it was fantastic, it's in a great location in the town centre and the staff were very friendly, breakfast was excellent. If you're visiting for the daily act of remembrance the menin gate is about a 400 meter walk and you've got the Flanders museum across the road. Some great bars and restaurants in the immediate area.

Not worth its money!
Reviewed By LeenLokeren_Belgium_We had high hopes of this rather new b&b. It looked really good on the website. But... a small, claustrophobic room with absolutely no room for storage, a tiny wonky table, only one armchair, a filthy chalked up kettle covered in dust, a tv with only a few rubbish channels and a disturbed picture, rusty flaky outside furniture, I must say: not done!! One of the worst places we've ever stayed in.

The imposing Amaryllis Hotel Veurne is located in 1 of the oldest streets of Veurne. This is only steps away from the famous Grand Place and opposite the beautiful Municipal Parc. This property is easy to reach with short and direct access to the E40 highway Brussels-Calais and the Belgian coast with its large beaches and dunes. Regional bus transportation and the railway station are also within easy reach. Amaryllis Hotel Veurne has a restaurant and a tea room.
A wonderful hotel and genuinely friendly staff
Reviewed By alancZ4705QSThe hotel is set in lovely building, clean throughout and with relatively few rooms. The grounds of the hotel are well maintained with a few tables and chairs at the front to enjoy the peace and afternoon sunshine. Our room was very comfortable. The location is perfect for seeing the best of Veurne (which in itself is a very nice place). Breakfast was excellent. And finally, the lady at reception, and breakfast, was very friendly and helpful. She went out of her way to help us with the next stage of our cycling tour in Belgium. First class. Highly recommended.

Great guys, great accommodation in a great central location in Ypres! We will definitely be staying again!

A luxury tree house near the sea
Reviewed By beirenstI booked this place for my parents who were welcomed very warm and with a personal touch. Beautiful and classy rooms in a cozy neighborhood. The rooms are a bit higher with view on the trees like a luxury tree hut. Just book it!

Aangenaam kader, nette kamers en super lekker ontbijt met verse producten. Een aanrader en we komen hier zeker terug. Bedankt voor de goede zorgen hoor Danny en Nathalie.

Our b&b is located in a unique rural house with a beautiful garden in a very quiet area at 500m from the beach and center. We have three rooms with TV, wifi, boxspring, private bathroom and toilet. We also provide the swimming pool, sauna and hamam. At our place we start the day with an extensive breakfast with fresh local products.

I'll sure get back there next time I'm in the area. S pity we couldn't take advantage of the pool because of the weather

Reviewed By ludovicl788On a aimé : - la situation géographique (proche d’un supermarché, proche du centre ville, à deux minutes à pied de la digue,...) - le prix des parkings dans la rue (zone KOK3 à 5€ par jour) - la propreté de l’appartement 1 - la gentillesse du propriétaire - la communication du propriétaire On a moins aimé : - l’insonorisation (on a été réveillé tous les matins par les voisins du dessus) - l’ascenseur qui donne directement dans l’appartement. Dormir dans le salon n’est pas agréable car vous êtes dérangé par le vas-et- viens de l’ascenseur. - pas de machine à laver (mais un lavoir à 250m) À recommander !

An absolute delight
Reviewed By Linda PWe stayed at this wonderful retreat when in the area for the Passchendaele 100 event. We were thrilled from the moment we arrived. Bart and his family welcomed us and offered us wine and nibbles. We had asked for an evening meal as we were not sure when we would arrive. The meal was absolutely delicious. It turned out Bart is a chef, has written cook books, won prizes for his recipes and teaches 'cooking' at a local college. Breakfasts and the other meal we had were equally delightful. In addition it transpired that the farm had been a British command post in WW1. Bart showed us original maps and aerial photos and artefacts he had found in the fields.

Reviewed By andr_s858B&B is goed ingericht. Onooglijk aan de buitenkant, ingang langs garagepoort. Beetje warrig stopcontact. Vriendelijke gastvrouw. Ligging zeer centraal in Ieper met zicht op kathedraal en Lakenhal. Geen ontbijt in B&B maar wel zeer lekker in nabijgelegen koffiebar.
