My 2nd time at Saint-Charles was as great as the first time. Warm welcoming from the staff, excellent food. Each time I have chosen the proposed menu which never disappoints. I warmly recommend the coffee by the end of the meal.

I went to l'Aptit on a Saturday night. I booked a table just a few hours before without any problem. The restaurant is small and cozy. I don't really like the table setting and the lights but it's a matter of personal taste I guess. Don't expect a big menu because you won't find it there and I really liked that each time you taste the chef's suggestions! The waiter was friendly but unfortunately we were a bit late and he kindly told us that our only option was a 3 courses meal instead of the 5 courses meal that was in the menu. The food was amazing, the meat and the vegetables perfectly cooked and all the plates looked great! We had an Australian wine that we appreciated although the wine list could be improved in my opinion. The only thing that bothered me is that the maitre pointed each ingredient while explaining the plates putting his hand way to close and I found it a bit weird. Apart from that detail (that could be easily improved!) I had a really great experience and I recommend it! Next time I hope the chef will stay a bit longer at the table to ask him some questions!

We're a Belgian bakery and restaurant serving simple, wholesome and seasonal food. Le Pain Quotidien means "the daily bread" in French, and like our name suggests, we're bakers at heart. Although our handmade, organic bread is how we got our start, we ser
Charleroi is a ghost town on Sunday and I was lucky to find this restaurant for a late lunch. Actually, it was among the very few open places on Sunday and it was quite crowded, probably with locals. The offer organic food and beverages as well as a free WiFi hotspot. I enjoyed a lunch mean with hot carrot soup and an interesting organic Belgian blond beer. Really the place is a hidden gem in a otherwise boring town like Charleroi :)

the pictures don't show the reality ; you get the feeling to be in a cantina ; several dishes not available ; food average ; friendly lady though...Thank you very much for your message. We don't really understand your feeling, our restaurant is not a «Cantina»... Have you got any pictures? If you can explain more, it will help us to do better in the futur. What did you drink, eat,... Despite your message, we hope that you like the food and your time with us.Cousins_Cuisine

We got this place by a friend recommendation.Nice restaurant, good service, good food, good wines.I had a beef fillet with vegetables that was absolutely delicious, well cooked and well presented. I also had a pleasant talk with the boss, that communicated me all his love for the food and customer service. Prices are ok, but 6 euros for mineral water seems too much. If you are nearby the charleroi airport, this is a compulsory stop!Grazie!

Family restaurant open in 2013 of French and Italian cuisine 25 different pastas and sauces that change according to the seasons We make a good part of our pasta with our hands, eggs and flour Friendly and family spirit Remember to book!
We had been recommended that place and that was way above all of our expectations. We spent the whole evening with a couple of friends. We ordered the pasta festival as we were interested to taste based on the chief's choice. Actually, this festival comes with 3 plates one after each with your selection, leaving you really time to appreciate, digest and move on to the next. This was so good that we added a 4th plate, then a 5th plate,... And we ended there. Well we kept going with a festival of desserts for our wife's while we had some cheese. Just amazing !!! Even the wines were really well selected from the waiter's proposal. Really everything perfect. Certainly a do it gain for us, and to recommend for any pasta lovers.

We were stuck in Charleroi and this place cheered us up. Spent a while roaming the very badly lit streets passing seedy looking burger joints and then found this surprise. Great welcome, attention and most importantly, great food. Definitely recommended.

Invited by a colleague we visited this restaurant. They present themselves as a restaurant with local food but you don't have to panic, they alsof serve the typical french cuisine. They have no fix menu (depending on the chef) which confirms the freshness of his food.
