12 Apostles Cottages

Super scenic! Highly recommended!

Reviewed By hisu2009

We visited this place recently. The moment we stepped inside it was a feast to our eyes. There were 4-5 cottages and are not very close so there was complete privacy. We stayed in Tullarock, there were 2 bedrooms, 1 kitchen with dinning table, sofa, tv, microwave. The entire cottage was spotless, very neatly decorated and there were lotsa toys & books for our infant and adults too..... Backyard of the cottage has bar b q, sitting chairs and the view is superb!!! There are animals around- goats, cows, chicken and no dogs/pets are allowed in the property. Outside our cottage was trampoline that our little one enjoyed a lot and swings. Outside the cottage was scenic as well. We visited 12 apostles hardly 8-10mins from this place. 2mins drove and there is wetland for evening walk and river to swim. We saw lotsa kids swimming..... Good to get your meals packed as nearby there is nothing.. Nearest towns are port cambell or Colac.... Must place to visit if you love nature and wanna be far away from crowd.

Does the job and in a good location

Reviewed By Damo35

We stayed in the Penthouse. It is technically a penthouse cos it’s upstairs. The stairs are steep and a bit rickety so not ideal for older folks. The location is good. The spa was also good and you could lay there and see the sea view in glimpses. The parking spot was pretty tight for a 4wd Ute. Probably better suited for a family than a couple.

WOW - JUST WOW

Reviewed By Kerry G

Wow, just Wow. It was absolutely gorgeous. Total privacy, supremely comfortable, with everything running like a dream. Our hosts were delightful and so accomodating if there was anything we needed but we didn't. The added touches of candles by the spa bath, plenty of outdoor chairs, a folder containing all the many things we could do in the surrounds were very much appreciated. Last but not least, their two beautiful well behaved dogs floating around having a ball were a sight to see. The quiet and tranquility provides the perfect opportunity for a city slicker to reset the button. Thank you Roz, Mark and doggos - see you again.

Port Fairy short stay

Reviewed By jgirls

We loved our stay in Port Fairy; the town is bustling enough to feel vibrant, but not too busy to feel crowded. 54 on Bank suited us well. A cosy cottage, all to ourselves, quiet and serene. So close to everything you’d need or want, but tucked away enough to feel safe and away from any noise. Lovely soaps and shower gels and hand lotions/sanitisers included. Only downfall was we had to use the 2nd bed as there was a dip in the main. But we will be back. Thanks again, 54 on Bank.

Great stay at Johanna River Farm

Reviewed By Ingrid Z

The location is great, close enough to the attractions of the Otways NP and the Great Ocean Road, and far enough from everything else. It is close to Melba Gully, so you can see the glow worms at night. We stayed 5 nights in a 1 bedroom cottage that was perfect and had a great view (all the cottages have a great view). The farm has two very friendly dogs, alpacas, horses, one donkey, sheep and chickens -- you can collect your own eggs. There is a herb garden for the guests, and last but not least, the hosts, Helen and Julian, are lovely! It is a great getaway from the daily grind (with limited internet and phone). I wish we could stay longer, and I hope we can take the extended family next time.

Disappointed

Reviewed By 454deanl

We had read great reviews and agree that it was a great location. Close to a beautiful beach and only minutes to main shopping strip. However we were unable to check in at advertised time. The property had strong smell of smoke throughout. No pantry to store supplies, shopping etc. Television was complicated with multiple devices attached. Outdoor furniture was unclean, uncomfortable and full of spiders. Some windows had broken winders and would not shut. Bed was hard and very uncomfortable. Shower had no curtain and water sprayed all over the floor. Will consider other properties if returning.
