Nice Place, Great Bed
Reviewed By TechGeekoidWe were looking for a quick stay on our way back from dropping off some stuff in Portland and stayed in Rogue River. It was clean and comfortable. The Internet was a tad slow but the bed more than made up for that. Not a rock hard brick that many places have but a comfortable cloud that allowed us to sleep in comfort. It's nice to wake up refreshed rather than stiff and sore, especially when you had a bad back. We will stay here again.

Reviewed By ltdan52This rustic Lodge located in Grant's Pass overlooking the Rogue River was well with the visit. So many super amenities, such as the wine and cheese reception, milk and cookies, free breakfast and hanging out on the balcony in the sun. My wife enjoyed the Aveda products.

Not worth the price

In the reviews everyone kept mentioning the renovations- if there were renovations done in our room then I hate to see what the place looked like before! It was dark and dreary, chunks missing from the carpet and bathroom door. The tub looked older than me. There were super sketchy people all around. The fridge was so loud and the toilet randomly made loud noises that were heard overnight even with the door shut. The river was nice and the staff were pleasant but not overly so. The breakfast was awful- nothing but carbs and dairy. This was supposed to be a splurge on our vacation, but I felt so much regret for spending so much to stay here.

It’s quiet and slightly tucked away from the road, which helps a lot. Breakfast was standard Hampton Inn food - fresh, satisfying, and yummy. There are a ton of eating places within a short walk. No complaints about anything!

Reviewed By Harleyca100What a nice place! Super cute, super clean rooms, locally owned and for sure friendly. I’m glad we found it instead of one of the major chains. Park in front of your room, picnic table outside the door. I’m impressed and that’s saying something. Whenever I come to Grants Pass this is where I will stay. The owner, John, introduced himself and chatted for a while, pleasant company to say the least. Didn’t check much on amenities, but the Wi-Fi is good refrigerator works as does the microwave and the coffee maker. I like this place! Tell them Don said hello.

Great hot breakfast with many health options, and two computers and printer/scanner in office area. When we were there the pool was closed due to waht appears to be construction of a new jacuzzi adjacent to the pool. A safe and convenient location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. At the date of our stay, the price we paid was $80 less than what Holiday Inn Express next door was charging. Holiday Inn Express is a great place to stay, and arugably better if you have young kids because the rooms are inside (and larger), and the pool being inside means you can swim in the winter, too. But for us, we were happy to save the money, and felt we gave nothing up. The motel absolutely exceeded our expectations in every way, and we wouled definitely consider staying here again.

Reviewed By traveler0102033Friendly staff, but the room was motel 6 quality and yet nearly $200 for one weeknight. Stay at a more recently updated property if you can. I made the mistake of booking last minute and the comparably priced but more modern options near the highway were full.

Located in beautiful southern Oregon off Interstate 5, is the 70 room, newly updated Red Lion Inn & Suites Grants Pass. Grants Pass enjoys a desirable climate year-round and the Rogue River, parks and theaters are nearby with lots of activities and planned adventures just waiting for guests of the Red Lion Inn & Suites Grants Pass. Kids under 18 always stay free with an adult. Dogs welcome with nominal fee.
Clean, friendly and easy access to restaurants and the BOATNIK! So much fun!

We received a free-pass to Club NW, not far away and their pool was so warm, we swam for four hours. Loved the recommendation. No complaints whatever, will stay there again.
