We ended up at Le Restaurant because we were looking for a decent restaurant. The restaurant looked very sterile, not a nice atmosphere, but okay, we were hungry.Never ever were we more disappointed with restaurant food - not in France, not anywhere. My wife's main dish was only some smoked salmon and a leaf of lettuce - hardly a meal! I had some cabillaud stew but it was just mashed potatoe from powder with a vague fishy taste.The waiter was chatting at another table with other people all the time.We ate the food but we were so disappointed, after we paid (cheap but still too much for what we got!) and went straight to the McDonalds down the street. The hamburger at McDonalds certainly had more ingredients and more flavour than our meal at Le Restaurant.So please, take my tip: skip Le Restaurant and go straight to McDonalds or another restaurant.

à la différence des autres avis ici, nous n'avons pas trouvé les pizzas excellentes avec notamment un manque de goût pour les produits utilisés (en particulier pour la pizza aux 4 fromages).L'accueil est quant à lui agréable et les prix corrects.

Accueil sympathique et chaleureux , le thé m a meme eté offert alors que je prenais juste une pizza à emporter ! La pizza orientale au feu de bois est vraiment excellente ! la pate à pizza est particulièrement bonne ! Le restaurant est moderne ! il merite d etre connu ! j y retournerais sans hesiter ! ils font aussi des grillades au feu de bois , des pides et des tacos !

We went there when the restaurant was completely full. Ordering took some time, but the food arrived very quickly. It's important to know that you don't pay at the table, but by the entrance. We waited a very long time for paying as we were not aware of this. Overall, the food was very good. They could have served a bit more cheese with the pasta, but thats the only complaint I can make. The salads were good and came with fresh bread, the desserts were really amazing. The waiters were running from table to table.

Si vous avez envie de manger des bons petits plats cuisinés avec passion (c'est important !) tout en profitant d'une ambiance "comme à la maison" n'hésitez plus. La carte des pizzas est riche en choix, les ingrédients toujours très frais, le patron les confectionne généreusement et avec attention, résultat : super bonnes et on y revient plus souvent qu'il ne le faudrait, mais ça, c'est juste pour la ligne !Les plats proposés, hors pizzas, sont excellents, les desserts succulents, surtout les glaces. Une bonne adresse à Saint-Dié et le sympathique couple (et leur fille la cuisinière) sont adorables ! Foncez.

i love pizza. i studied pizza under delia. i think i can tell a good from a dud. this place rocks! packed out on a monday night and serving fabulous food. i'd love to know what kind of oven they use and how hot it is: i'm guessing 230c - scorchio!!Great food, great service
