Nice place but can be better
Reviewed By Geenia11For starters, staff was very nice. Our room sheets though we're not clean. Coffee mug in room had lipstick on the rim. Toilet seat had black stains on it. Clean Breakfast plates I picked for my kids had old eggs on it. Rooms can use a little upgrade with tech, for example, USB ports plus tv kept breaking up.

I pick the hotel by reading the reviews. This hotel lived up to the good reviews. Everything was perfect here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was perfect, it was spotless and the bed so comfortable. We so appreciate how clean everything was. I would definitely stay here again! I would come back just to hang out with Yolanda! Katie the GM is super sweet as well! I would come back here again! The rooms were nice and you can tell the staff care about their jobs and making sure everything is clean.

Poorly managed hotel
Reviewed By 262amyjWe have been loyal Hilton Honors members for years, so we almost always choose a Hilton property when traveling. I was hoping to find a place we can stay again and again for the next few years while our daughter is in college in Memphis, but this will not be the one. To be fair, I will list the positives first. The front desk staff were friendly and professional, the property was in a safe location, and the hotel was mostly clean. Now the negatives: the key card system was down for our entire stay, and according to staff had been down for a couple days when we got there. Every time you needed to enter your room, you had to wait in line for someone to walk you to your room and let you in. All exterior doors were unlocked because there was no other way for guests to enter the hotel. This is clearly not a safe practice, and there seemed to be no urgency in getting the problem taken care of. As I stated before, all staff were courteous and friendly. I believe this property must be poorly managed. Yesterday we were also informed by the restaurant employee who escorted us to our room that the entire system was down hotel-wide and they were unable to ring up anything food or drink. There is no housekeeping service at this hotel unless requested, which was fine, but sort of strange. When we wanted to use the ice bucket in our room, we discovered that it had about three inches of water in it from the previous guest, which made me wonder how clean the rest of the room actually was. Overall, this was a disappointing stay. If there is a problem so severe that no one in the hotel can have a key card, the hotel management should be finding other accommodations for all the guests, or at the very least, offering free breakfast and drinks or even bottles of water. No apology or attempt to make things right AT ALL. Lastly, the walls in this hotel were thin. On night one, we could hear our neighbors to the left talking until very late that night. On night two, our neighbor to the right went out and left a barking dog, assumedly in a crate. We had to call the front desk because it went on and on and on. This is a hotel that is not supposed to allow pets. I wish I could say we’ll be saying here again, but I can’t see that happening since management seemed to be completely absent in this hotel.

Do not stay here
Reviewed By melissapT4409CMWe stayed in room 223 and it was obviously a smoking room. We moved to room 217 and found dirty towels. And the heater would not work. There was also a plunger in the bathroom. Not a good sign.There is no complementary coffee. And I’m still waiting to see if they will reduce the rate. We paid $200 for one night at this hotel. Do yourself a favor and go down the road to the holiday inn stay bridge. Same price. Free breakfast. And even a kitchen in your room.

Nice Staff, Terrible Hotel
Reviewed By Gregg AI’ll start with saying that the second star was given only because all of the staff members we interfaced with were very friendly and accommodating. However, this is by far the worst Marriott property I have ever stayed at. The hotel is beat up and it’s obvious management has no intention of spending any time to improve it. Our first room had a carpet that was sopping wet from a leaky air conditioner. They did give us another room with the caveat that the TV’s didn’t work, but maintenance would fix them the next day (never happened in 3 days). The one cover over the light above the bed was completely missing, so just two fluorescent bulbs were sticking out. The other side was broken with a big hole in it. The hair dryer was sticky and full of hair and fuzz. The silverware holder had just one spoon and a can opener. The room wasn’t terribly clean and had mold and water stains. Lots of stains on carpet and furniture also. I am a lifetime gold member, so I’ve stayed at a lot of Marriotts over the years and this is one of the few I would never stay in again. We put up with it only because the location was so convenient for our weekend event, but next time I’ll drive a lot further to stay at someplace that’s at least decent.

Beautiful spacious suites located in the TraVure Complex in Germantown. Within walking distance to many shops and business. Let us be your home away from home while visiting the Memphis area. Close to Interstate 240, right in the middle of all the action whether it be business or leisure. 25 minutes from downtown Memphis and close to the Memphis airport and Graceland.

And the excuses from management is poor and unsatisfactory to say the least. The only good thing about my stay where three employees on the Home2Suites side ( Sade, Lena, and Chas who works night shift.

Reviewed By Odyssey783403Just say no to this Quality Inn: Bathroom sink cracked, Shower drain so clogged that water went up to shins while taking a shower; shoes stuck to floor as the cleaner was never rinsed off, no Cable TV only streaming and the TV was on Analog and blurry, Hinges on Doors were all rusted, Floor around baseboards not cleaned at all. Coffee was watered down as was the waffle batter. Toilet paper was paper thin. It needs to be COMPLETELY remodeled. Worst place I have ever stayed.
