I travel through Waycross quite often and usually stop in at Zaxby's for a quick bite. Zaxby's represents the very best in customer satisfaction in fast food. It is absolutely delicious!

I've seen the ads on TV for Firehouse Subs so I thought I would give it a try. One should compare it to other sub shops so here's a Subway comparison. There were in store promotions for $3.99 subs but when I said I wanted a small it was pointed out that they "were only 4 inches long." I ordered the 6 inch Hook and Ladder and added chips and a drink. You choose chips from rack. Drinks come from the multi source dispenser. Good selection. All sandwiches have fire or firefighter names, BTW. The comparison is that it seems you get more meat from Firehouse Subs than Subway. Bread was nice and fresh. You also get a pickle on side. Price may be a bit higher. I was impressed by firefighter painting on wall and firefighter equipment. I was also impressed by Firehouse Subs making donations to firefighters both nationally and locally. I liked Firehouse Subs better than Subway.

This place was renamed Zonerâs Pizza, Wings & Waffles. We went inside to eat. First impression it was not the cleanest looking place. Tables were sticky. You could see into the kitchen and the ovens, counters, etc. looked like they were in need of a big cleaning. I was going to order a salad but that turned me off. I couldnât imagine a salad coming out of that kitchen. We did order a pizza. The crust was fresh tasting. The pizza was very mushy and greasy though. After eating inside and seeing the kitchen I donât think I will return. They also serve the pizza with very cheap styrofoam plate. So when you cut the pizza with the plastic knife they give you it cuts thru the plate.
