resto bien plaçé sur le port , jolie terrasse bien décorée , pas beaucoup de choix a la carte mais les produits ont l'air frais , nous commandons un pichet d'un litre de sangria maison , tres bonne mais si vous enlevez le gros bloc de glaçons il ne reste plus que 75cl !! tout comme les plats ç'était assez bon mais pas copieux , servis sur une ardoise pas top non plus ;

LA BODEGA

Very sunny day out in Port Leucate, so decided to get some lunch. Places we have eaten in before were full, or too busy to sit with our large dog. (Used to have a apt here for 10years). Walked along the Quay, and came to La Bodega. Was busy but we could get a table which was suitable for the dog. Friendly owner welcomed us and showed us menu. My friend and I had a great mojito, husband on sprite as he agreed to drive home, which made the guy laugh. All food was freshly cooked and served timely but never rushed. We had a combination of pork, fish and mussels all of which were very delicious. Sat there that long got a great suntan

La Perla

Wonderful menu - French cuisine served in the rustic setting on the beach. The dining highlight of a stay in Le Barcares is at La Pearla. Great fish and meat dishes. Cocktail bar, candle lit in a Cuban style setting. Open in high season to end Sept.

Great location and lovely food spoilt by the rude and incompetent staff. After waiting 20 mind to see a menu and a further 15 mins to order food very rude waitress then informed us we should not be sitting at the table as it had been reserved(no sign of this) we then had to go upto the bar on 5 separate occasions throughout the meal to request things that we had ordered but the staff failed to serve. I have never had to request to pay 3 times in a restaurant before! The food was the one good thing however with really tasty burger and Tuna steak was delicious however this does not out way the disgusting service! Man behind bar was pleasant and they should move him to front if house instead of the rude lady that acts as a dictator currently occupying that position. Never had a worse experience anywhere in the world. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

Very nice place with a beautiful sunset view on the bay and good food. Nice menu with seafood, including squid cooked in all different ways. Polite staff and good service. Nothing very exceptional but decent.

Chateau de Fitou

We have visited this beautiful spot sveral times - the atmosphere and relaxed furnishings are really second to none.Unfortunately the relaxed atmosphere extends to the menu - limited by ambition we think.In the past we have had great quiche etc whilst visiting.This year we were advised that there was nothing on but tapas.The tapas was limited - tasty but unadventurous and very overpriced. The desserts were fine, although squeezy cream when you are paying 6 or 7 euro a pop is a little stingy!All in all though, a beautiful spot for a drink - just don't go in expectation of a great meal!

Shared a traditional mixed paella.Prawns,squid,chorizo sausage etc.Served lovely and hot in the pan.A lovely white sangria.The restaurant has a very varied menu,including tapas,and ala carte.There is a garden restaurant for warm weather,and an enclosed section part.The theme of the restaurant is traditional Spanish bullfighters.The lighting in the garden terrace restaurant really adds to the ambiance,which is a constant changing colours,theme.Quite an exciting place to visit,and look forward to sampling more of the extensive menu.Booking is essential.My wife and I visited on Good Friday 14 04 2017.The restaurant was full.
