Goede gerechten van de dag, behoorlijk gevarieerd.Zeer vriendelijke onthaal door de vrouw des huize. Mijnheer aan het fornuis. De keuken en is geïnspireerd door enkele gerechten van hun verleden doorgebracht op de eilanden.Wij hadden Tahitiaanse sashimi (tonijn, uitstekend) gegeten met een wasabi-saus,genomen. Alles was zeer evenwichtig.'S Avonds, van donderdag tot zondag, maken ze ook taarten geflambeerd op een houtvuur, ter plaatse of om mee te nemen. Hun geitenhoning is echt heel lekker, de taarten hebben niet de normale grootte. Ze zijn rechthoekig, maar uiteindelijk toch iets groter dan de gebruikelijke taarten. Ze zijn ook vrij talrijk op de kaart en we vinden taarten veel minder conventioneel dan die ronde. En aanrader.Het buitenterras is schaduwrijk en zeer aangenaam omdat de zon en de warmte besluiten zich niet opdringen. Dit alles met een adembenemend uitzicht op een klimparcours uitgehouwen in roze zandsteen tot honderd meter.De presentatie van de gerechten en desserts is heel netjes.Lekkere Irish Coffee

Bonne adresse proposant de savoureuses tartes flambées traditionnelles ainsi que de belles pizzas, le tout cuit au feu de bois !Les prix sont tout à fait corrects. Je recommande !

15 miles East from Strasbourg , Marlenheim is known as the first village of the wine road, i.e where the main vineyards of Alsace begin. It is also the village where my grand parents used to live. I came back there, after a long absence, in order to supervise a family meeting, with my cousins, that was planed to take place in that restaurant. At the Relais des Saveurs, end of April and first of May 2015 I enjoyed - among others â their « Tarte flambée », a dish composed of bread dough rolled out very thin which is covered with fromage blanc or creme fraiche, thinly sliced onions and lardons. It is one of the most famous specialties of the region. I was fully satisfied. However, the 2nd of May 2015, the lunch served for the 55 guests (my cousins and family) was a total failure. We were supposed to enjoy a baeckehoffe, which is a mix of sliced potatoes and onions, cubed mutton, pork and beef which have been marinated overnight in Alsatian white wine and juniper berries. We did not see any of the commonly added ingredients for flavor and color like carrots, thyme, leeks, parsley, garlic, and/or marjoram. The baeckehoffe is supposed to be slow-cooked in a sealed ceramic casserole dish. Most of us were fully disappointed because of a lack of professionalism of the chef unable to follow the recipee of a traditional alsacian dish. Therefore, if you are an individual why not stopping by ; however if you are a group of travellers visiting Alsace, just hit the ROADâ¦

Le hasard fait bien les choses , nous voulions aller dans un autre restaurant malheureusement fermé. Nous sommes donc allés au Cerisier , accueil chaleureux , petite salle très jolie , par contre très peu de place entre les tables . Nous avions opté pour le Menu du jour ( entrée , plat ) de belle assiettes copieuses avec de bon produits . Pour terminer un café gourmand très correct , une addition très raisonnable. Dans lâattente prochaine dâun repas à la carte

Restaurant traditionnel, un accueil des plus sympas dans un cadre qui mélange du renouveau dans lâancienne maison . Une mise en place parfaite et moderne dans des murs ancien . Des assiettes parfaites en qualité ainsi quâen quantité , des vins au verre parfaitement conseillé par un très jeune serveur qui fait magnifiquement son travail .Une addition qui reste dans la moyenne de la région .

Qualité des plats et du service pas de problèmes mais ......Quelle attente pour une réservation de 4 adutes, 2 enfants et un Bébé : Commande faite à 13h 10 et nous pouvons (enfin !! ) nous lever de table à 15h40.deux heures trente d'attente. Il faudra faire de gros efforts pour nous faire revenir alors que nous venons régulièrement à Wasselonne voir notre petite famille.Pourtant nous n'avons rien commandé d'extraordinaire : apéritifs, deux menus à 35.00, deux lottes et deux menus enfants.

We chose the cool interior of the plush restaurant over the pretty terrace only because it was an extremely hot day. The room is beautifully wood panelled and very elegant.The lunch menu offered 5 choices per course and it was very difficult to eliminate any item!The dishes were stunning-exquisite sauces, packed with so many nuances of flavour and artistically presented. Amazing value for money.

By chance we stopped here for lunch and were impressed by the quality. There is a maze of rooms and outside space, we opted for a compromise, an enclosed veranda.â¬13 for a three course lunch, preceded by amuse bouche of a light cod pate. A really good quiche and not quite so good Russian egg salad, were followed by a mild turkey curry and pork supreme which filled us up for the day. Tart and creme brulee to finish - we left feeling happy and well fed.

We had a delicious family meal here. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The menu served local specialities and was very busy for a Thursday night.Weâve been to many restaurants in France, and this was as good as any of them.
