Unappealing restaurant - broken glass in window, the chef smoking in the link bridge to the restaurant, a shambolic mess of tatty chairs, persistent flies around the food. We really should have read the warning signs and gone elsewhere but not much open on a Tuesday night so we stayed against our better judgement. The food was OK though a limited menu. The Corsican mixed platter had some good things but expensive for what it was - lazy cooking. My Caesar salad was huge but had more volume than taste, the frites with my tough entrecote were very nice. But service was functional rather than welcoming, and with large gaps in spite of the lack of customers (another clear sign that all is not well).Would not return or recommend. We heard that owners have changed which may explain why our experience was so different from earlier reviews.

We are staying in Cabries for a few days.....not really the eating capital of Provence. This restaurant was really nice. The room is very calm and understated (more modern Provencal Style). The food was delicious. We started with a smoked salmon starter and an eggplant lamb dish (served cold, would have enjoyed it more if it were warm). Next my husband had a grilled daurade that was excellent and I had Pieds et Paquettes that was very good. We finished with Profiterolles that were home made and very tasty. The wine list is large with all budgets well covered. The service was very good and reservations are probably advised for dinner.

This hidden restaurant is good value for money, Nothing gastronomical, but friendly service and good food. This time we had cod sirloin, that came with tasty vegetables. Nice! They to good meat as well that you can watch being barbequed over fire. Been here several times and will come back.

Un concept de restauration original. à la carte, des burgers avec des gaufres maison à la place du pain accompagnés de frites fraîches, de copieuses salades, des cocktails et de magnifiques glaces côtoient une importante variété de galettes et de crêpes s
The restaurants on the main area are over priced. This place is tucked behind it by a fountain and overlooked by an old tower. The order was quickly taken and the beers served followed shortly by the galletts, fries and small salads.Certainly cheaper than the other places and nice food.

This is a family run restaurant with an interesting menu- a mix of Italian and French offerings. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. The tapenade maison was excellent. Nothing fancy but pleasant surroundings and very good homemade cuisine.

Actuellement en congé, réservation à partir du 22 Août 2018 - La gastronomie s'invite à votre table du mercredi au dimanche
This is probably the real fine dining restaurant of Cabries and bouc belair with a very pleasant terrace with an asian inspired art design. The king of this menu as the name implies is the truffle. Because we were here in the summer, we realized that the overall quality of the truffles would not be that of the fall, during the season. Still the dinner was quite correct. This certainly was not the best meal of the trip and nowhere near the best truffles I've had, but this again may be a reflection of the season. The meal was solid. Having said that and realizing that truffles are expensive, one must admit that the value was not great. If this had been one of those knock your socks off truffle menus then anything is worth the price, but in all three dishes we had, the truffles did not incorporate taste, only texture. For the high prices, that's not really enough so the value, at least this night in summer, was lacking.

I went to l'Instant Braisé having read good reviews on TA, and I was not let down. On a Thursday night it was not crowded, and service was good, and very friendly. I had the half chicken label rouge (they have another one which is a bit more expensive that is "bio" but Label Rouge for me is a sign of quality, so I want for that one, with vegetables of the season. All good. Chicken was not fatty or "soft" like the battery chickens one can find elsewhere, and had good flavour. Was served with sauce on the side. Will return to try the duck which looked good at neighbouring table.

Without doubt the best meal I have had in France. Fresh fish of almost every type cooked to perfection. Relaxed and welcoming and served with great professionalism. If fish is your thing then do not miss this place. Can not recommend too highly.
