The four of us enjoyed a variety of fresh, delicious pizzas and desserts for lunch.Everything was well-cooked and served with a smile in this cosy, well-run and justly popular with the locals pizzeria. There's free off-street parking one minute walk away, or in the road outside.

We stayed overnight pre-ferry and whilst the hotel provided as expected it was not a particularly enchanting stay. Our rooms were average, the greeting was average and the hotel's decor rather uninspiring. The restaurant has a Michelin star although on this occasion we chose not to use it; however in the past we have enjoyed the food but found the whole eating experience way too sombre. This hotel will, I'm sure, fulfil the needs of many but for us it needs to have a major uplift in its atmosphere before we would stay again. It did not strike us as a happy hotel!Having said that it is a great location, an interesting building, and serves a worthy purpose for travellers.

I read the reviews for this establishment and we really wanted to try it, so prior to a recent flying visit I phoned and booked a table for Saturday lunchtime service. We have been coming to France for many years and really enjoy the concept of menu du jour or plat du jour and it always used to be such an occasion, but in recent years it seems that while food standards are still good the presentation was lacking, well that is certainly not the case at Le Brise Lames. When we visited (Oct 18) you could select 2 courses from the menu du jour for €17 or 3 courses for €19 euro during the week. During evenings, weekends and bank holidays that price rises to €19 for 2 courses and €22.50 for 3 but it is still exceptional value. They also have an a la carte menu you can choose from if you wish.We were greeted and seated by very pleasant waiting staff who furnished us with our choice of drinks (a very nice 50cl carafe of red wine for €11), some water and an amuse bouche which was a light and delicious mouthful. This was followed by the starter and main course from the menu du jour, which in this case was mushroom veloute followed by fillet of haddock with vegetables and pasta. Both of these dishes were an absolute revelation, beautifully presented and really imaginative and both were served with delicious homemade, still warm, bread. I don't generally hold with people taking pictures of their food but I just had to because I was amazed by the flavour of the food and the standard of the presentation for the price. While we were there a few people came in that had not booked and were turned away so if you do decide to go then be sure to make a reservation. The restaurant is quite small, perhaps 30 or so covers and seems to be very popular, and quite rightly so.The food is the star of the show, of course, but the waiting staff were very friendly and also the table was really nicely laid out with some gorgeous glassware.I understand from previous reviews that the current owners have not been there very long, they should be very proud of what they have achieved. We will definitely go back when we return to Roscoff again in a few months.

Needed to find somewhere for a quick bite to eat before catching the ferry. This is a charming little crêperie in a quiet lane of the Main Street. Food was excellent and the atmosphere very relaxed. Really enjoyed it.

Mary Stuart looks over the sea and most tables have a good sea view. We booked (for Sunday evening) which seems to have been advisable as all tables were taken within 30 mins of our arrival. Food had a local slant to it (seafood, artichokes) and we all enjoyed what we chose. House red was a bit challenging. Service was friendly and efficient, restaurant was clean, toilets spotless.

New restaurant in town, since april 2011. The Chef uses fresh products and prepares the dishes in front of you. Serves french and local food with a touch of international cooking.

Two restaurants were unable to accommodate ourselves and our three teenage children on a wet Monday in St pol de Leon. However this lovely restaurant made room for us and gave us a fantastic meal. I loved my asparagus veloute but the fish in a creamy curry sauce was sublime and possibly the best cooked fish i have ever eaten, crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. Kids and husband loved skewered steak with bearnaise sauce. Special thanks to the lovely chef who translated some of the menu for us as I don't think gizzard salad would have been to our English tastes. We found the prices very reasonable and it was a pleasure to us to be able purchase such a fine regional meal for our children. Many thanks for such a memorable occasion.

We grabbed a table early on a Saturday evening at the beginning of November. The restaurant soon filled up. We were not rushed in any way and enjoyed a really good meal, best in France for several years, together with friendly and professional service. There are several set menus, we opted for the 30 euro one and can say it was great value for money, all 3 courses being of the highest standard. Would love this restaurant to be near to where i live so that i could visit more often.

In an unspectacular village near Roscoff is the highspot of your visit to Brittany. This restaurant is truly superb. We arrived in a deserted dining room and it took a while to realise that tables were being occupied in chronological order every 10 minutes or so which partly explained the perfect service that each table received in order of arrival. We were greeted by a spectacular ammuse bouche before continuing to the medium menu which, in July was, Ravioli Gaspacho (unique and delicious) Lobster with the densest flavoured petit pois it has ever been my pleasure to taste, followed by Sole stuffed with Shelfish finishing with Apricot Butterscotch.Absolutely delicious.
