A chef who really knows what he is doing and a partner out front giving a warm and friendly welcome to the customers. Always busy both summer and winter. The food is top notch and this small bistro is on our list of local places to visit regularly.

We had this restaurant recommended for lunch and werenât disappointed. It was lovely sitting out on the terrace under the awnings on Saturday at lunch time.Staff were attentive, without being intrusive. The food was good, steaks were accurately cooked. The duck was cooked well. Salads were probably the highlight. We would recommend trying the salads.Wine list was ok, could benefit from a little wider choice, we donât all love Provençal Rose....

We came on Easter Sunday without a reservation and were lucky enough to get a table! The ambiance is warm and delightful. The service was friendly and prompt. The food was incredible and the staff was happy to make recommendations. Would absolutely recommend and return.

We loved our local restaurant whilst staying in le Rouret. Without a doubt the restaurant is always busy and has limited nights during the week. The asparagus dish with fresh egg mayonnaise and a choice of miniature lettuces was beyond fabulous! Great atmosphere and the best in the area .

Weâve eaten here before and always enjoyed the food and excellent service. Today we tried the Easter luncheon and it was fabulous! The traditional lamb entree was perfectly cooked and delicious. Also chose the strawberry âsoupeâ with muscat for dessert. Highly recommend

Maybe we just hit them at a bad time, but the experience that we had while trying to have lunch at La Jarrerie on April 22nd was one of the worst customer service experiences that we have ever had at any restaurant anywhere. When we arrived for lunch on the terrace, there were only 4 other people there so it wasn't a question of having a fully booked restaurant. We were ignored for the first 10 minutes by multiple waiters before we were finally seated at a table with a broken leg. When I called the waiter's attention to it, he simply shrugged and walked away instead of re-seating us at one of the other many vacant tables. After repeated attempts to get other waiters attention for assistance, and being ignored, a waitress came after 10 minutes, flipped two menus on the table, and walked away from us while I was in mid-sentence. A few other guests started arriving for lunch and they were immediately attended to by the same waiters who had previously ignored us. When these same guests had their orders taken and were served cocktails before we had even been spoken to, that was the final straw. We got up and left. I can't attest to the quality of their food as we didn't eat there but if it matches the level of service that we received, I don't think that we missed anything. My overall impression of La Jarrerie is that it is a restaurant that is simply going through the motions and just doesn't care. There are too many other good restaurants in the area and it's just not worth taking the chance on La Jarrerie. I simply can't recommend this restaurant to anyone based on our bad experience.

Having read the mostly positive reviews for this restaurant, we were looking forward to discovering it. The first surprise was the restaurant itself! It looked small and dingy from the outside and not much better within. Basically, the setting and decor are awful.The service was decent, the waiter was polite but responded in monosyllables.On the plus side, the meal was outstanding and worthy of any high end French dining establishment.So, to sum up, a mixed bag. A great eatery but I wouldn't go there for a celebratory occasion as the setting is not on par with the food.

Friends have spoken well about this restaurant in the past, so we were pleased to be able to join two of them for a Sunday lunch. We were not disappointed. Service was charming, the amuse bouche tasty, the wine choice limited but good and the food excellent. We will undoubtedly return.

We recently enjoyed a beautiful evening in the charming courtyard at L'Ecole des FIlles. Everything was wonderful from the amuse-bouches, to the mignardises with coffee. The sea bass, in particular, was heavenly. We were advised to get there early and were glad we did: the place was full by 8pm. The four of us enjoyed everything: the food, the setting, the professionalism of the waiters, all spot-on. Looking forward to going back!

My fiancé is currently living in Grasse and during my recent visit we found this lovely restaurant. We have gone back three times now. Delicious food and amazing service. The outside patio is great also. There was some live entertainment on Saturday evening the first time we went. I will definitely return.
