We went to the Moulin for lunch after supermarket shopping in Pertuis on the strength of other Tripadvisor reviews. Outside is a traditional, slightly unpromising building on a busy corner of a main road, inside is a pleasant, contemporary little wine bar and restaurant. It was filled with local business people enjoying the 3 course prix fixé menu. Staff were friendly and pleasant. We had very tasty starter of roquette salad with a pistou and aubergine tartine topped with bayonne ham, a pork tagine with couscous for main and fresh pineapple and ice cream for pud. That, plus two coffees and three excellent glasses of wine from good local vineyards, came to 41 euros for the two of us. We will definitely try it one evening to check out the evening menu and ambience.

Unexpected find and wonderful surprise! Food was home made with genuine ingredients. I had Pasta infused with olive oil, basil, black course pepper, garlic with fresh clams....yum yum! My partner had gnocchi; which had a firm bite, baked in tomato, basil and mozzarella seasoned sauce and was amazing.House rose was very good also.Such a lovely atmosphere, relaxed, laid back, chilled resulting in one of our longest lunches ever.Special mention to the chef/owner who made us feel like we were guests in his home rather than customers in a restaurant.

This is a charming restaurant with lovely young owners and great service The interior could be improved but it's still a good experience.Their cuisine is innovative, fresh, seasonal and tasty. It's great value and the daily menu included a great fish dish and lovely appetizer dish. The village itself is picturesque and situated in a beautiful part of Provence. Take the walk from Cucuron and walk alongside wildflowers, olive fields and Provencal fields. As it's very small you need to book this restaurant.

Discovered this restaurant by Google search. Noted the high rating, we decided to give it a try. There were free car parking spaces along the adjacent streets. Once arrived the restaurant, the staff greeted us and arranged a table. As soon as he heard I spoke English instead of French, he used bilingual to communicate with us. How attentive and smart gaining our very good impression. We ordered a 5-course dinner at the price of €41 each. It came with a bowl of grape juice and basil, avocado and smoke fish plus a fried curry and wasabi meatball. Very creative and flavorful. Nice job. The homemade gnocchi was exceptional! It paired with homemade tomato sauce and parmigiano crisps. We loved the taste. Two main dishes, one trout with roasted Japanese tea foam and onion crisps, the other was veal with mushrooms. Again, tasty. Then, followed by a cheese plate and caramelised apricot with rosemary ice-cream and chocolate sable to bring the meal a happy ending. The portion size was very generous. Overall food quality and services exceeded our expectations. The dinner was extremely valued for money. Highly recommended.

Those of us of a certain age who recall the glories of French cuisine before it was abducted by those who spend more energy on fussy presentation, off-the-wall table settings, unlikely (and often unsuccessful) combinations of exotic ingredients than with good tasting food will probably adore this charming little restaurant.Outstanding food, outstanding service (the friendly, English-speaking waiter recommended glasses of a fabulous Chablis and an even more fabulous Chateauneuf du Pape to pair with the quenelle of black bass and lamb), with old school French country inn ambiance and good value for money. Sometimes you win. Sometimes you lose. This one’s a winner.

Thanks to Trip Advisor, we chose this little restaurant for lunch after visiting nearby Vaugines, a delightful wee village. A very friendly welcome from Mathieu and a pleasant atmophere, not too noisy despite being nearly full. Jolly decor. A choice of daily specials or the regular menu, so we ate off the blackboard and were more than delighted. The food was properly cooked, but also beautifully presented, really whetting the appetite. Probably the best meal of our holiday (we have one more to go). We would go again in a flash.

Le Loup Bleu

Reviewed By Minackman

We visited years ago when the business was called the "Restaurant du Lac". The lake remains and "Le Loup Bleu" has a beautiful view out over it towards the Grand Luberon mountains: a fact you do not appreciate as you drive past the unprepossessing exterior. The current owners started their new venture last July. He is a retired French diplomat who served in the Seychelles and his wife, the chef, is Seychelloise. As well as formal training in France, she got three years experience at the Michelin starred restaurant "La Closerie" in nearby Ansouis. The cooking is French with some interesting flavour combinations from the chef''s Indian Ocean homeland. My wife and I really enjoyed our food and look forward to going back next year. The value for money is exceptionally good and "Le Loup Bleu" deserves to be much better known.Good luck!

Monday we stopped at Ansouis, and saw the "Grain de Sel" sign. We called, and yes they could accommodate us for lunch. It was a great experience. Very quiet setting overlooking the glorious landscape. We ordered the "formule". The tapas assortment was a delicious choice for this hot weather. Fine desert and coffee, all included. Very friendly service.Great place, would certainly go back when in this region.

This Michelin 1star restaurant is excellent. Very good, seasonal cuisine with a Chef and team that really know what they are doing. Creative with flavors that worked together. The amuse* particularly was like your tongue throwing a party for your mouth! --Lovely atmosphere, elegant but casual and not stuffy at all. Service was the perfect balance of professional and warm but not wanting or needing to be your best friend. One of the best overall lunches I've had in a long time! We'll be back.*Amuse: Cream/foam of volaille with truffle and pumpkin seeds, and a surprise of al dente fresh shelled peas at the bottom of the cup. I could have had another one easily!
