The park of 7000 m², completely hidden from the outside world, unveils a heated pool of 20×7 m with stone paving and sunbeds. Its restaurant the Belvedere has a large shaded terrace facing the park. Our cocktail bar offers a range of classic drinks as well as the House Specials. Sunday lunch is Brunch time ! A large buffet is served, of a variety of cold starters (sea food, marinated fish, sushi, salads, cured meats etc), a variety of hot food, especially the whole grilled lamb or suckling pig is very popular. This is follwed by a buffet of cheeses and desserts.

Beautiful hotel, excellent food

Reviewed By Nikhil_Advani

This is a really well priced and very nice hotel in the area. I booked the single room, which wasn't huge, but still had everything I needed, including a kettle and a bathtub. The swimming pool was really nice. Had dinner at the restaurant, and the main dish (pork) and dessert were outstanding (see pictures). Very friendly staff.

Genuine Hospitality

Reviewed By Alan F

The art of hospitality includes making guests feel welcome without intruding, ready to help when asked. It includes making the welcome feel strong both when the hotel is full or nearly empty. We arrived a bit later than planned on a busy Saturday and departed on a quiet Monday. Throughout our stay we felt at home in a lovely and distinctive Provencal home. Everywhere, in the public spaces, there is evidence of good decorating taste. Our Standard room was well crafted, decorated with some flair. There was an extremely comfortable bed, adequate lighting and space in the bathroom, quality toiletries and luxurious towels and an emphasis on cleanliness throughout. Saturday dinner, when the hotel was at capacity,, was served with grace and skill. While there were only two choices for each course, they were prepared masterfully. Breakfast here is delightful, with artisanal yogurt, fine breads, freshly squeezed juice and superb coffee. The quiet location, yet in the heart of the village, is ideal. We spend a lot of time planning our trips and have been fortunate to travel widely throughout France and much of Europe over the years. There is a splendid value and quality here that fully met our expectations. We will be pleased to recommend Villa Regalido to our discerning friends.

Disappointing

Reviewed By car0lee21

The dark long haired receptionist who was on duty in the morning of 9 September has a bad attitude. She was busy telling everybody what to do. From the guest to the staff. We didn’t appreciate the comment about our little dog barking. We were at the pool at the time so it was easy to find us since we took drinks at the pool. No waiters at the pool. On checkout she dared to ask if we paid our bill. If she did do her job well she would know we paid the night before. She also told us on the second morning to use a tray. You can’t even put a tray in between the coffee, the bread, etcetera. We had to clean our own table to make space for our breakfast while the staff was busy filling up their own coffee pot at the busiest moment of breakfast while the guest had to wait. We were woken up by guests arriving by walking in the passage. This means the soundproofing is not good and needs to be upgraded. The bed size is too small. Bad mattress which gave a backache. Toilet was smelling.

A peaceful retreat

This is a lovely place to stay in Fontvieille. The hotel has a pretty, peaceful garden and pool area. Breakfast and dinner in the shade of the trees, rooms are small but very comfortable with excellent shower room. The hosts are friendly, helpful and very professional. Dinner was delicious and the cheese selection a real treat. We just wish we could have stayed longer and had more time to explore the area.

Great stay

This is perfect for families. The kids’ activities were excellent - everything from archery to horse riding and bread making. There are three pools but you can’t bring inflatables. The staff were really helpful and there is a real pan-European vibe at the campsite with everyone we met being really friendly. The toilets and showers are cleaned several times a day. Nearby Fontvielle which is a 10 min walk through the woods is a lovely little village. This is also a great base to explore the wonderful villages of Provence.

Mas Saint Victor

The unique location of our Mas assures a very quiet and peaceful vacation but also a direct access to the natural reserve of Alpilles. We took a lot of measures in favour of the environment since many years which were rewarded for several prices and awards.

Perfect for relaxation and visiting the local attractions

Everything about the apartment and our stay was perfect. Friendly welcome; homemade jam, tapenade and eggs from their free range chickens. The little apartment was very comfortable; every detail had been thought of and provided. Gorgeous pool in very attractive grounds. So peaceful yet so close to Fontvieille for little shops, good places to eat and Monday market. A very good location for day trips to Arles, Camargue, Tarascon, St Remy etc.

Nice B&B with superb hostess

Reviewed By Sydney2000000

We stayed for 3 nights and were given the suite which was very large with a nice sitting area. The terrace area covered with grapevines was very nice and relaxing to sit out for drinks. Wifi was good. Bathroom was a little dark with the lights were not operating 100%, towels were nice and thick but no tissues provided. It would have been good if rubbish was cleared during our stay. Breakfast was really good with different jams and fruits each day. A variety of pastry and baguette and also freshly made crepes. The hostess Sophie was very friendly and kind. She recommended restaurants in town, we went to one and very happy with it. She offered us some wine & snacks for sundowns, her grapes off the vines and helped out with washing which was much appreciated. Sophie along with a hostess at another B&B were the best two on our trip around France.
