Nice funky vibe in this steakhouse in centre of Fontainebleau. it was recommended to us by our hotel and it didn't disappoint. It was a very hot day (38 degrees) and although it has an attractive terrace we chose to sit inside as the town was plagued by wasps. Despite the hot weather - and although it doesn't have A/C it was cool and we weren't bothered by the wasps. William took our order in english and the waitress was super friendly. We shared two plates of onion rings between four as a starter and we all had and excellent gourmet burger for mains - cooked as we like it. Very reasonably priced and much nicer than the burgers we have had at French chains like the Hippo or Courtpaille. We will definitely eat here again next time we are back in Fontainebleau!

After visiting the chateau we were looking for some French food and the name sounded good. The waiter wasnât very friendly as in most service industry in France but we kept low profile fearing he can spit in our food but the food was delicious like in many places in France. And good size portions and good prices. Just put up with sulky please donât make me work hard attitude everywhere in France youâll get good food. Weâll go again if ever back to Fontainebleau. Anyway service wouldnât be any better at the next door café.

We found the Mojito Club when looking for a Chinese Restaurant that we had visited before. Disapponted that the Chinese had closed down but more than happy about the Mojito bar located next door. I had a lovely classic Mojito and my partner had a non alcoholic Pina Colada. Both were fabulous. Look out for happy hour between 6 and 9pm
