We were staying nearby in order to enjoy the Everglades NP. Felicia was our server, and she was absolutely delightful. Very attentive, helpful, and funny! The red snapper was good, as were the shark bait martini and the woo woo martini. Kids loved their food, and Felicia made everyone smile.

Don't expect anything fancy (although there are pretty hanging Mexican star lights) because the atmosphere qualifies this place as a dive. However, the food is very good and reasonably priced. They start you off with a complimentary basket of tortilla chips with a fresh tomato and cilantro dip. I had the shrimp in salsa de mariscos which was more fishy than crustacean-y but it was still tasty. The flan is okay but it's pre-packaged and not homemade so I'd opt for the fried ice cream which is huge and easily shared.

On a drive, from Fort Lauderdale, I needed to eat. We saw the sign and went in. Initially disappointed as no alcohol was served. This was soon forgotten when we had the food. I had fried catfish and my husband had fish fingers, but not like we know them in the U.K. Really top class and worthy of any top restaurant who would charge twice as much. Good service, instant coca cola refill. We had to finish with key lime pie. I definitely overate. Out of the way but a good find. A little treasure.
