We happened upon the restaurant while in Hallandale Beach - we didnât know what to expect other than the reviews on Trip Advisor. We were hesitant at first but the help of Alfonzo we ordered two fish dinners. My wife had the Playa Chucita and I had the Corvina Primavera. Both had the same grilled Corvina with different vegetables. Good choices and both delicious. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.Thank you for your review and those warm words towards us Bruceandjoan. We are very happy to read how much you like us and how much you appreciate the hard work put behind our MENU, as well as the entire operation. It's always a pleasure to take care of you. Have a great weekend.

It's a relatively new restaurant, but I live nearby and have been there three times so far. It's in a large strip mall and I could find the street address online but not a website. It seems to be a small family-owned restaurant
We decided to once again order in from El Tayta Peruvian restaurant. We ordered the whole Pollo Entero ($19.99) which comes with 2 sides. One Aguadito Pollo lunch ($7.99) and one order of Chaufa Pollo ($14.99).We ordered it way in advance and every time we called to see where our order was we were told that it was on itâs way. It finally arrived about 30 minutes late. The chicken was good and flavorful and came with a very spicy dipping sauce. The black beans were also good. Their chicken soup smelled great and had large pieces of chicken. The green broth was green due to the cilanto. We also ordered some chicken fried rice which was very good. It contained a lot of large pieces of chicken. This could have been a meal in itself.Remember, if you order to give them lots of time for them to deliver. Enjoy!

My husband and I decided we wanted to try different types of food while on vacation. We was very impressed with the Peruvian food. We had no idea what to order so we just picked some random things and and amazing cocktail. The waitress was very helpful. We will definitely eat this type of food again! If your in the area check this place out, promise you wonât be disappointed.

J28 sandwich bar is a peruvian inspired restaurant serving homemade and all natural sandwiches on our daily baked bread (roseta). J28's best seller sandwich is "Chicharron" - pork belly, sweet potatoes and pickled onions. Vegetarian options also available
Selected this little restaurant for a belated celebratory Peruvian lunch (Independence Day =July 28... likely the source of the moniker J28). Very clean and bright little spot with seating for about 20 inside. Food options are a modern spin on some Peruvian favorites. Loma Saltado. Canchita served warm. Chicha morado (order at counter). Lucama smoothies. Prices were a little higher than expected but overall good food in a clean place hosted by very courteous staff.

If youâre looking for authentic Peruvian cuisine, look no further!! I have tried a few places in the south Florida area but this spot tops them all. The ceviche was fresh and delicious. Our server was very attentive and the General Manager Mr. Swayce Good, was very personable and ensured we were having a perfect experience. My boyfriend and I will definitely be returning soon!!

I have been so disappointed so far in the recommended restaurants that I went to in Miami and this definitely didnât disappoint in fact was one of the best restaurants Iâve eaten in in a very long time the atmosphere the food the service, the atmosphere absolutely fantastic.I sat at the bar as the huge restaurant was full ,even the outdoor seating.I asked the bartender which ceviche he recommended and he said the mixed seafoodThe portion and flavors were to die for ,it was perfectly seasoned the right amount of lime and flavor and everything was super tender ,not rubbery as can happen with ceviche I could finish the huge portion as I wanted to try somewhere else ,he recommended the special which was tastaronnes with avocado cream and diced tuna just perfect Ended with a dessert he recommended, which was great just a little to sweetI forgot the delicious tequila passion fruit cocktail he prepared for me I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting south beach
