Have been here several times and it is always great for breakfast. Service is better than any other place we have been. Huge menu, our omelets, potatoes, meats and toast were all cooked perfectly. Could not ask for anything better. Will be back many more times.

Friendly Toast Cafe 2

For years the Friendly Toast was the gold standard in breakfast in South Brevard county. At some point this grand old lady had run off the tracks. If you don't already know, the lady that owns this restaurant employs most of her children and her husband. For years they have provided quality service and flair with the ingredients they get from Sysco.Last week I eagerly walked in with firm expectations of a consistent meal as usual. Instead for 11 minutes I listened to two of the 5 sisters argue vehemently regarding child care or as it sounded a lack thereof.Politely I asked if I could please place my order. I also casually mentioned to the youngest she should consider listening to opposing opinions. Well, that plan of approach clearly fell flat as she began to berate me and insist I wait to order until she and her sister resolved things.2 eggs, home fries and hamburger patty ordered. Received a mediocre meal prepared poorly at best. My suggestion? Leave your personal issues at homeHello Todd, are u trying to harass us now? You haven’t been in our restaurant in at least 10 months, this is the same review you wrote on yelp in November of 2017 which I responded to. Todd I’m really sorry if ur life is so bad that all you have to do is sit home and harass people who are trying to work and make a living. There are all kinds of groups around which maybe you’d be interested in to pass the time of day. Even join the gym to release some of the anxiety. I truly hope you find some type ofHobby which doesn’t involve insulting and belittling people. I wish you well.

Oh Biscuit

This is the kind of place travelers love to find, a local favorite that's inexpensive and serves good food. The menu offers plenty of sides and add-ons, so you create your own biscuit masterpiece, or even biscuit alternatives (bagels, I think). In my case, it was a fried chicken biscuit with gravy. Staff, assuming the owners, are very friendly. There's room inside for about a dozen diners, more seating outside. I'd be happy to come here again.

Looks like they have great baked goods. Not a great place for breakfast, though. I had their ham and egg breakfast croissant. It was ok. The egg looked like it was microwaved. They had several pastries, cookies, and cupcakes in their display case. They looked really good. I’ll have to give them a try. Service was extremely slow. I don’t know if I got there at a bad time, but there was only one customer in front of me. The pastries really looked good, that’s why I gave them a 4. I’ll give them another try when I’m looking for a pastry instead of breakfast.
