Fantastic food, absolutely delicious flavours. As I'm vegan, we had the vegetarian sharing dish (all their vegetarian dishes are vegan) - it was amazing! If we ever come back to Orlando, we'll definitely be eating here again. The lady serving us was really lovely and advised us on the foods we might enjoy, and how to use the 'bread' to eat with. It was all soooooo good and tasty!

Jiko - The Cooking Place

We've been to and stayed at almost all the Disney World Properties and Resorts over the past 14yrs. We frequent about 6-8 Times a Year. We have always herd such Rav reviews about Jiko and finally decided to book a Birthday dinner for my Daughter and I who share a Birthday. Wow, so much potential just extremely poor execution (Luke Warm Dishes had tons of Flavor). There is an obvious disconnect between the Server, The Expeditor, and the Runner? We made it really easy for the waitress by putting in Apps and Entree's all in at the same time with the request that all be fired together. App came in 15min and Main Courses arrived Cold 40min after?...Now, I know you can tell by my verbiage that I have restaurant experience by now...But, wow a $300 bill and Cold/Luke Warm entrees really?...I was so displeased that we left with little argument after attempting to allow the Server to address the issues on her own but, she lacked the competence to do so and offered us Coffee? So I opted to just contact Guest Services the next day which intern lead to the Restaurant Manager to call and Remedy the Situation. But, sheesh were was management the night of?...Major Mission Failure!!!...Been noticing this downward trend in Disney World Dinning lately...Why aren't we taking Disney Land, CA Dinning tips by now?...Would love to try again sometime not sure if I'm willing to pick up the Tab if it goes left again tho...

Sanaa

I read all of the amazing reviews of this restaurant and was very excited to book it for our trip to Disney. I made it our last night dinner so we could go out with a bang! Unfortunately, it wasn't a bang - just a so/so meal. I ordered the mojito to drink since the waitress said it was a recommendation. It was so loaded with ice that I couldn't stir it and there was barely any alcohol to be found. The bread service was the highlight of the night - if anything - come for that and then be done. It was just lovely and all of the sauces were unique and delish. Our meals, after that, were just so so. I had the trio of grilled meats. My lamb and sausage were ice cold. As were the sides. My daughter had the lamb shank and it was alright. My husband did have the butter chicken curry and it was really good. Unfortunately, the just alright food outweighed the good/great food. It was kind of a real let down - especially with the price of the meal. The resort is under construction so there are construction walls all along the windows blocking any view of animals - just a warning if this is why you are booking here. The experience and the food just didn't have any wow factor for us. Which was a major disappointment.
