They offer an incredible $5 Kobe beef burger on Tuesday that is normally $16. It was the best burger that I have had in Jacksonville. They also had great brussel sprouts. The owner met and sat us. Our server was great,we will return!

I really enjoyed this restaurant. Found parking right out front, food was great, atmosphere was nice, service was nice and fast. Order the lemon bar freeze or the rum runner (not listed on the menu). Nice music playing, drinks, along with that Mayport shrimp and fries plate made for a great night.

I learned that Conch Fritters can be tough and pretty tasteless. I was told that they would always be tough...I ordered bacon wrapped shrimp and had to tear apart to âpeelâ them before I could eat them.It was declared that perhaps they had used too much bacon for the small sized shrimp so the tail portion left on for handling made it appear that âallâ the shell was left on...The wait staff was attentive and attractive.... but the menu needs some tweaking!Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We take a great deal of pride in our scratch kitchen and daily fresh catch. If there is ever an area of concern, please bring it to the attention of a manager and they will do all they can to elevate your dining experience. I have been a patron over the years, but the visits are fewer and fewer. Thd went from really great to OK. The drinks made were very poor. The place really needs a deep cleaning and an upgrade.

First good part-good food-good to average service (too long to get attention) Good value. Interesting menu. Good happy hour selection.BAD. Horrible noise level. We are use to relatively high noise in this area but this was the worst. 6:30 on Sat night. But by far the worst thing was PARKING. We will not come back, at least on weekend. We had 6:30 reservation. Drop off spouses and we arrived back at the restaurant at 7:00. After 45 minutes, we found a place 6 blocks away. NO VALET-Problem is not unique to this restaurant (valet would solve problem)

In October 2016, my wife and I visited Poeâs the first time and fell in love. The burgers was amazing, the cole slaw was to die for, and the wait staff was very attentive. Now almost 3 years later, I have decided to never go back. I ordered the rue morgue and my wife the gold bug plus. Neither burger was better than what is available at Hardeeâs or Sonic and we had to wait much longer to get it. About 4 tables were taken inside the restaurant but the waiter was too busy to come and check on us, it was disappointing from what we had experienced in the past, and itâs enough for us. We will not go back. Hi - we are devastated to hear you had such a bad experience with us. We are usually known for our great customer service and attention to detail in everything that we do. We enjoyed our meals and service very much. It was a Saturday evening and the place had a good crowd but we were seated quickly and our server arrived soon after we sat down. We started with the Queso with chorizo dip and it was wonderful - warm with great flavor with homemade chips! For dinner, i had the fresh catch which was Corvina - it was delicious. The sauce and the potatoes that accompanied the fish was outstanding. It had a little heat but not enough to overpower the fish. My husband had seafood paella and really enjoyed it. There was plenty of seafood and the flavor was again spicy but not overpowering.

My wife has been craving some good authentic fish & chips for quite some time. The rave reviews on Trip Advisor and a recent profile on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives clinched the deal. We started with a couple of picture perfect Guinness pints, and then just settled in to relax. The atmosphere is a cross between an Irish pub and a sports bar. Plenty of seating in a very woody comfortable space. It was a quiet Tuesday evening so things were slow, but I would imagine itâs packed on weekends when they host live Irish musicians. The food was plentiful and well executed. The fish & chips did not disappoint, and I enjoyed the Guinness Beef Stew. This is good comfort food in a relaxed setting.Thank you for sharing. I wish I could review the Cheese Steak Sandwich. But being on a short term low carb diet I have been relegated to eating wings and other carnivorous edibles. I will say though Philly's has some great wings. I would say the best at the beach for sure. If you not into the carbs then hit Philly's for the wings.Thank you very much for your patrinage. We go through a huge process to get our wings to be so crispy and taste so good. I am glad you apreciate all the hard work it takes. Thanks Jeff

What a gorgeous place to eat some great seafood! The screened in area was perfect last night where we awed by a gorgeous sunset. Our server was great. One must have the crab bisque which is rich, flavorful and full of crab. Yummy. The shrimp dinner was piping hot and lightly breaded where you can taste the fresh shrimp. Both the tartar and cocktail sauce were tasty and complimented the shrimp.Thank you kbemje. We love to heat when you had a great time. No better place to watch the sun set. Hope to see you soon.
