Stained comforter and ripped second sheet. Poor cleanliness. Bad for Choice Hotels.
Reviewed By JeffD915I tried this hotel over a year ago and was frightened by the hot tub room I was given a room key to. I was thrilled figured what could be nicer than a hot tub at a Quality Inn. That experience was horrid but since Choice hotels is a brand that has been dependable for me I thought I would try a non hot tub room again as we opened an office down the road. Again a mistake on my part assuming Choice would ever allow their good name to be associated with a HORRID hotel. My room was dirty and old, badly painted and patched all over, my comforter was stained in numerous spots, second bed sheet was torn with stuffing coming out. Desk had old food smudge or something on it. Bathroom was functional but outlets were 2 different colors one newer and one from I couldn't tell what year. Outlets are not updated at all so don't have much to plug in to. TV was newer and decent and the internet worked also but still this hotel has proven again to not be anywhere near choice standards. I would not have the Quality name associated with this hotel as obviously the owner does not care about his property. Towels also had stains. I will let Choice hotels this property needs to be walked by franchise management, I believe after they will pull the owners association with Choice hotels.

Absolutely Horrible

Came home at 2:00 am to find fresh blood on the sheets, burn marks and long black hair, the bedspread was absolutely filthy…Obviously the sheets had not been changed. Went to the front desk and they were not helpful at all. They said that all their stuff was stained but clean…?. Went to take a shower in the morning and black hair all over in it. Then I went to use a towel to dry off and there were yellow stains on it. Unfortunately there was no where else to go and we were stuck here. Very grossed out by this entire stay. Definitely NOT recommend. I took pictures and have proof of all my allegations

Reviewed By ramsey0865I loved my stay there, even if it was a sort grace period. The staff is awesome!. Dawn, Dazza and the ESA associate do their best and alway treat us like family. Did I mention pet friendly. This Hotel is my go to in fife area.

Reviewed By Whatthemonkey19Over priced. Dirty. We paid 200. For 2 nights plus a 60.00 deposit where they will only take cash for a deposit. This place is barely worth 39.99 per night. They seriously need to wash all their walls too and paint. I swear it look like there was blood on the bathroom wall. Like from someone trying to do drugs maybe? This place is all around gross. I don't think they changed the sheets. Yuck. We asked for clean sheets they said they didn't have any. Bathtub didn't drain right. Old food in the fridge. The faux hardwood was almost completely lifted in the super tiny bathroom. The floor was so dirty it turns your socks black. How we noticed the sheets were dirty...dirt in the bed, long black hairs none of us have hair like that. The shampoo and conditioner were microscopic, 4 of us staying there. Hotel shampoo is always tiny, but this shampoo was like made for barbie, how cheap can you get I guess? Shady ppl stay there and fight in front of your door at 1am and rev up their cars all hours of the night. When you go to check out they make you wait 20min for the cash deposit while they do nothing. Never staying there again. Spend the extra 30. And go next door to quality inn. It's not fancy but it's actually clean. and no b.s. I should of taken pix but didn't think of it this photo with my son is all I had of the hotel and I can't put the review without a photo.

Sunshine Motel needs a health inspector
Reviewed By 44magalThe place is a dump to much trash everywhere and foliage green bushes in the back of the motel. My husband was bite by bedbugs in the bed on the top floor. Bedbugs in every bed, probably. The pillows are OLD and need changed used disgusting. It's not a place for families no place for children to play. Trash piles up next to the trash can, the trash dump is too small. Folks should find another motel don't stay here the place should be shut down. Also, fridges don't work right misses the dial button inside to adjust the temperature. WAY to much furniture. Dirty sheets and towels small burnt holes in the blankets. Bad smells in the room.

Reviewed By Paula FNothing on the website prepared you for finding the office in another motel with a different name for check in. Wifi didn't wotk the first night. The TV reception went out the next day. Hallways were dirty, dumpster was overflowing and the room smelled musty.

Reviewed By 780jokWe used to go down there for a few hours to gamble and have fun, we don't feel safe in there anymore in the fife. one they have a lot of riff Raff people in there, and it never fails that we have people begging us for money all the time in there, or cigarettes. We have started going to the muckleshoots or BJ's, because they have machines that when you walk in you go through the metal detectors and then they take your driver's license and it goes into a machine and comes up on the computer to see if you have a valid driver's license, and BJ's also scans your your driver's license, and both BJ's and the muckleshoots are working very hard at keeping the riff Raff people out of the casino, and we feel a lot safer being there. Which means a lot. My 92-year-old father-in-law last year had his car broke in to in the parking garage.. and the other thing is the muckleshoots and BJ's has way more handicap parking stalls for older people, which means a lot when you have a lot of disabled and older people that gambled. And the emerald Queen in Tacoma when they first opened had more handicap than they used to and now they've taken away some. Which is insane, when a lot of their business during the afternoons during the week are disabled in elderly people retired. All I can say it's their loss, at least BJ's and muckleshoot have made things a lot safer for people, and they have a lot of handicap parking and both places are a lot of fun to gamble because of it. And the last thing about emerald Queen both places if you have a problem with the machine or you can't get your ticket out or whatever the reason it takes them absolutely forever to get somebody there to fix it, which is insane. At BJ's and the muckleshoots they have people right there to help you right away. All I can say they're doing way better job than the emerald queen.

Reviewed By colacoffTraveler beware!! There is a "no refund" policy if you prepay and need to check out early! My husband travels for work and his schedule changed after 2 nights when he'd paid for 4. They wouldn't refund him or even let him have credit for the next week when he would be in town again. Horrible people, really stupid policy, horrible customer service. If they had been even a little accommodating they would have kept my husband's business. Now we are writing reviews everywhere to warn people away. The cherry on top is the place was apparently having water problems, too, and it was turned off for 1/2 a day. When it finally came back on there was little water pressure and what came out of the faucets was dirty.

Drug deals in the parking lot and dirty room

We had our kids with us and the room was dirty, furniture taped together, appeared to be bullet holes in door and we witnessed a drug deal in the parking lot. Not a safe place to stay. We didn’t even stay the night. We were checked out that same night we checked in.
