Good hotel for onward trip to Alishan
Reviewed By LiveNLetLiveWe were looking around for hotels in this area and needed a pit-stop for our trip to Alishan. The property is quite large and there is a lake nearby. The good thing about this hotel is to go to Alishan one does not need to go via Chiayi city. On the downside there is nothing within walking distance of the hotel and one would need to travel by car Chiayi township. The rooms are quite large and have a balcony. However the rooms were a bit dusty. The breakfast spread was quite good with a wider selection of Taiwanese dishes. The staff service at the dining area was excellent and they gave us some ala-carte dishes during our stay. They met all our needs and requirements. Kudos to the dining staff ? We did also see some large our groups staying at the hotel and my guess is they are using the hotel as a pitstop for their onward journey to Alishan.

Reviewed By bytezOur room had a scenic view facing the golf course and cityscape. Room has ample space and equipped with sound system but TV is not working as it should be. Free snack bar! The bathtub had a glass window overlooking the bedroom which is pretty cool - for more privacy you can lower down the blind. There is also a single reclining sofa for you to relax next to the bedside.

European home at high mountains
Reviewed By DocJJPanEveryone arrives this place with a Wow as the views from entrance and the garden are just impressive and spectacular. The couple owners take care of the garden so carefully that there are always fresh flowers and candles lightened at the table of public places for day and night. The houses are gracefully built and painted in Tuscany style, there are even a high ceiling window with decorated fireplace facing high mountains feeling like at top of the castle. The other surprising beauty is the sunrise above the high mountain and tea garden, only 5 minutes' walks from the garden , thus to make the sunrise trip more easily enjoyable. The breakfast is also served healthily and fruitfully to start the next journey. The stay here is certainly worthwhile.

Great hotel for family trip
Reviewed By David LWe bought some seafood from pingtong. The employees shared their kitchen with us. The manager and his crew were very friendly. The choice of this hotel was because mt. Alisha would be too cold and too costly. The room rates are remarkable and we like their facilities including hot water and distilled drinking water. Children also enjoyed the video games in the lobby.

Reviewed By Lugosi915Location is not quite good unless you are driving/hire a transfer, but it’s best for sunset & sunrise view (if you are lucky). We booked dinner @ NT$380/pax and it was really really, really nice! You should give a try while staying here. Basic accommodation, worth the money you paid!

Reviewed By lizolety搭台灣好行公車到林厝站下車，再走一小段路到民宿，因為民宿主人有提供詳細的說明所以不至於難找。民宿就位在茶霧之道跟二延坪步道附近，要走這些步道非常方便。入住四人房，第一眼就可以體會到主人的用心，房間簡單乾淨沒有多餘的裝飾，整組床鋪非常舒適，尤其枕頭可以讓你一覺到天明，另外房間有附茶具組可以品嚐當地阿里山的茶。早餐主人親自烹調簡單的中市料理，很可口美味，非常值得入住。

Clean, comfortable and friendly
Reviewed By Pedro GWe were a group of 4 and had a very nice time at Dang Guei Homestay. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the rooms large, clean and sunny, and on top of that, a really nice view (I could see the so-called sea of clouds sunrise from my bedroom). A very nice place with...humm...interestingly decorated rooms. I would stay there again although it was a little bit overpriced (but according to my research similar to other properties in the area).
