Great Place to stay!

I’ve never written a review before on a hotel stay, but couldn’t pass up the opportunity to do so for this Quality Inn location. To be honest- our norm is to stay with other well- known hotel chains. After reading wonderful reviews on this establishment, we decided to give it a try. I can not express how delighted we were with our stay. We are a family of 5 with our children’s ages ranging from 17-22 years old, so we stayed in a family room (2 floors, 3 beds, 2 bathrooms). So glad we did! There was so much space for us, and it was extremely clean. The views from both balconies were beautiful as well! The staff was friendly and very helpful with any need we had. They made our stay more pleasurable. To say the least- yes- I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone, and I would definitely stay here again in the future.

A QUICK SPRING GETAWAY

Reviewed By TravelWriter48

Feeling the need to get out of Denver for a few days, we combined the ease of getting to Estes Park with our love of Rocky Mountain National Park and settled in for two nights at the Deer Crest Resort in mid-May. (Great time to visit as the summer crowds have not yet arrived.) I booked a riverfront deluxe king so we could enjoy the beautiful views of the grounds and river. Plus, we liked having extra seating with an easy chair and love seat. Right outside our room, overlooking Fall River, was a seating area where we played a few games of cribbage. The room also had an small balcony on the front with a mountain/parking lot view. Opened both doors for a wonderful cross breeze. The room was very clean and well supplied with the usual amenities. Jeremy at the front desk was very pleasant when we checked in. Very quiet as children are not allowed. The property is located only three miles from the national park entrance so we were able to make multiple trips into the park where we saw moose, elk, bighorn sheep, deer, turkeys and a coyote. Really hit the jackpot! I am putting Deer Crest on the calendar for a return visit next spring!

The Historic Crags Lodge

The lodge is ideally located in the heart of Estes Park on the north side of Prospect Mountain and only minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park. Breathtaking mountain views surround you making this the prefect location for your mountain wedding. The landscape of Rocky Mountain National Park is the steepest in the United States. Sixty mountain peaks over 12,000 feet high result in world-renown scenery and provide challenges for hikers and climbers. The extreme topography creates an amazing range of ecological zones within a short distance, similar to the changes that would be seen in a drive from Denver to northern Alaska.

A Gem on the Mountain Top

Of course I recommend Crags but it's more than an excellent place to stay. They add at lot of extras you won't get at other places. It's the atmosphere they delivery with friendliness that conveys that feeling of home away from home. It sounds a little corny but I always end my stay here feeling comfortable and relax due to the friendliness that's not artificial.

Room had electric space heater, Called 911 twice in one night, neighbors fighting.

Reviewed By Cowboyforever

Coyote is the low end budget hotel. The room used an electric space heater for heat. The front check-in showed hours open until 10 PM. The neighbors in the adjacent room were screaming and fighting after an evening of drinking. I called the front desk at 9:30. No answer. I called the emergency number posted. I explained the neighbors were fighting. She said she would call the police. Nothing. Finally I called 911. Police came immediately. 10 minutes after they left, fighting resumed. I called 911 again. The drunk woman was arrested. Finally my wife and I got some sleep.

Paradise in Estes Park

Reviewed By colorado4ever2011

The best ever! I stayed there years ago but this time I upgraded to a room with a private balcony and I’m glad I did. The room was better than the higher class hotels I’ve stayed in. The bed & pillows were super comfy and had beside phone charger tables built in to the wall on each side. That’s something I’ve yet to see in any other hotel. It looked like everything in the room was new: the fridge, microwave, tv, air conditioner/heater, electric fireplace, and the furniture. The room had a private balcony with a table & 2 chairs so you can sit and enjoy the ducks & geese on the pond. The bathroom was the best! The shower had a rainfall shower head that was wonderful and a built in soap dispenser. Everything was decorated and done beautifully. I woke up to elk just a few feet from the front door, which excited this city girl. The girls at the front desk were so nice & friendly & the breakfast had a good selection to choose from. I am hooked. I will definitely be back.

Very Disappointing

We stayed in cabin #2. The carpet was torn and stained. Kitchen blinds were torn, and the washrags were stained with bleach. The bathroom linoleum was yellow stained. The owners really need to do updates on this cabin. The maid service was good, and the front desk lady was nice and helpful. This is a motel, not a resort!
