In short, too expensive for what you get! We could find no indian dishes under NOK 220, and how about NOK 44 for four little pieces of industrial grade Nan without any kind of dip or sauce! The Vindaloo was only hot and not aromatic. All in all, a major letdown.It is a pity when guests are not happy, but as you write there is a disagreement between what you believe and what our other guests have reviewed. We hope in your case that this only applies to you based on what other guests are saying to us and reviewed here on TripAdvisor. We are very sorry for your expirience, but you can not satisfy everyone's palates. Thanks a lot for your review.

Det Gamle Bageri (The Old Bakery) is located in a building which used to be a bakery and a brewery during the 18th century. The baker's oven still dominates this small, intimate prmises. This popular venue is located on the market square in Drøbak.

The hot cheese sandwiches were really good, and the location in the middle of Drobak is superb where one can choose to sit inside or outside. But I was not impressed by the service which was very slow, - had to wait Close to 30 minutes for the hot cheese sandwiches, - and I observed that 3 local women who ordered cheese sandwiches after us, received their orders before us. It looks like this is a very popular Place for the locals. We overheard that the Place does not have icecubes which is very unusual.

Villa Malla has an excellent location by the Oslo fjord and a stunning view! You can go here just for an ice-cream and to have a look but I do reccomend lunch or dinner in the restaurant. The beach area is nice and clean with beautiful sand. I can highly reccomend a visit to Villa Malla!

Ristorante 24 is a real Italian pizzeria with a genuine wood-fired oven, a loud, but friendly atmosphere, Italian owner, and - according to a sign in the window - with Italian employees. Should you still be in doubt, the company name stated on the receipt says: "Italienere på kjøkken AS avd, Ristorante 24".The pizzas are in general good, without being among the very best. On the downside, they are rather small ("medium size"), which is disappointing - in particular when taking the price tag into account (160-188 NOK).The waiters are friendly and service-minded. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays, and not open for lunch. Our visit is rated to around 3½ stars - but as Son is such a nice place, I've decided to be kind and round up to 4.

One of our local restaurants and we normally have delicious "lutefisk" for Christmas here. This time i had the Christmas platter and it did not live u to this nice restaurant's level. The service by a young man was very friendly and creative which saved the evening from an average score. We will be back for Lutefisk next year.

We received a warm welcome, and we had friendly and efficient service the Whole time. I found the colours and decoration very attractive. The Venison dish was nicely presented and really tasty. We tried all Three desserts they offered, and they were also very good. Will be happy to Return here!

This is something between a café and an art gallery, where the walls are decorated with art for sale. The location and atmosphere is amazing, but the prices are well over the top. The food selection is not that big, and honestly the dishes are not worth the money. But for at coffee-date or break during the day, it is a great place - just not a place to go every day.

This place is nice and serves tasty and delicate courses. We were invited to have dinner with friends at às Bistro and we were impressed. às is probably not a place people even living close by expect to find such a nice restaurant, but it is worth travelling to às just to eat at this Bistro. The interior is very modern, fresh and nicely done. The atmosphere inside was really good. The menu consisted of many tempting courses and we ended up with two of us having steaks and two having sushi. My steak was delicious, served on a wooden plank, nicely prepared and very, very tender. I will try the sushi next time though. The 30 something pieces the "girls" orders looked just fantastic. The presentation was worth a photo, and I know how it tasted. The people running the place and serving you have decided to please you as a customer. They have prepared the food with love and care, like we all like it. It looks good, it tastes good and the place looks fresh. We will come back to às Bistro for sure, but it is not on the cheap side, quite similar to Oslo prices.

Excellent restaurant in Soon. Just by the sea. The restaurant is beautiful decorated, staff smiling and always present by the tables. We were 10 family members joining for our yearly christmas dinner, a 40 years old tradition. First time at this restaurant, definitely not the last. The food is delicious and very tasty. The "lutefisk" probably the best I've had. Definitely recommended
