Ok motel
Reviewed By Flyer67219604530This motel is ok. It’s old and dated. But it was clean. Well the carpet was dirty cause my white socks were black from walking on it. I believe they have a plumbing issue cause there were gnats all over the room. Also my blanket smelled like cheap strong perfume. The bed was comfortable. The price is too high for this motel. The staff was friendly. I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Horrible experience
Reviewed By nickel5We stayed here while attending a concert at Choctaw. When we arrived the front desk girl was the rudest hotel employee we have EVER encountered!!! This should have been our sign to turn around and find another place! We thought maybe she was just having a bad day so went to our room. The TV would not go to anything other than a screen saying no connection. Tried to call the front desk, and no cord for the phone! Our friends in another room, said they’d switch with us because they don’t really watch TV, and guess whaT…? Their TV had the same issue! The blinds were broken and the room needs to be updated and cleaned. I did let the new girl know when we were leaving how sweet she was, but how absolutely rude the other employee was the day before. She apologized and said she’d let her GM know. We will NEVER stay here again.

Reviewed By nancy nFirst impression, dirty parking lot.. never a good sign. Room key wouldn't work in an outside door, had to get it reset, 4 tries to get in the room ea time as well. Read this list before you book your stay!: broken lamp, TV wouldn't work, microwave quit after one time, light bulbs missing (very dim in room), broken plug for hairdryer, tiny size toilet! Complimentary breakfast area dirty and not re-supplied. Beds were ok. I am very surprised this hotel is on the Choice Hotels site, should be removed. Hotel needs major updating and repair!

Terrible experience
Reviewed By TrailBlazer10701The Econo Lodge at Durant was terrible. I did not check reviews before booking it. Big mistake! We checked in and there was a $50 additional damage deposit. (Reviews say many people don’t get this back.) We get to the room and I pull back the spread and find stained sheets and a hair!!! ? Addionally, there was a straw wrapper on the floor. This is just really poor house keeping and in addition to the stains on the sheets they were dingy color. Then the water in the shower was reversed so if you wanted very much pressure, you got colder water! I will say when I checked out and showed her my pictures she voided my deposit, so there is that.

Not fun anymore
Reviewed By DayTrip484852I'm not sure what is going on with this casino & resort as of lately. It is very clear that a new management change and or decision has the machines paying enormously less than usual. I have been coming here for years and the emptiness I see when I walk in surprises me greatly but, I understand once I begin to play the machines they're horrible. It is not the same, and customers are leaving. New team members seemingly are everywhere and they leave quickly, within a few months you do not see them anymore. I as well as a number of others have voiced our grievances and it goes ignored. Those along side me, tell me the same goes for them as well. When management neglects to take care of the people who take care of it. The business will surely fail, I think this place is heading in that direction and is showing signs of a bad casino reputation with neglect of its customers, etc

Worst Hampton Inn Ever!
Reviewed By Jim PThe Hampton inn in Durant is the worst Hampton Inn ever. The bathroom needs a serious cleaning or remodeling. There was mold in the shower caulking, no lounge chair in the room, only a dining room chair, desk chair and bench. The breakfast was not up to Hampton Inn standards. The hard boiled eggs were old and leathery, there were no scrambled eggs or yogurt available.

Absolutely delightful
Reviewed By 719kerricWe planned a night of gambling at the last minute and honestly, I was disappointed that the only room available was at the lodge. But not only did it turn out alright, it was far better than just alright. The staff was kind and gracious and checked us in promptly. Our room and the entire lodge was immaculately clean, *silent* and free of any smoke smell whatsoever. The beds were comfortable and we had a ton of really nice pillows. And I would have NEVER guessed that this was a pet friendly inn...we didn’t see, hear or smell any pets at all. My biggest concern was the shuttle ride to the casino, but this ended up being a non-issue. The shuttle was prompt both to and from the casino and the drivers were just as kind as the staff at the lodge. I’m not sure what more you could ask for, especially at such a reasonable price. This is simply a delightful place to stay.
