Staff is unfriendly

The room was clean and sufficient for a nights stay- that is why I gave an extra star, because based off the service I would only give one. We planned on extending for another night but decided not to because of how unfriendly everyone was here. It’s rare to come across unfriendly people in Croatia so we were very taken aback. When we came down with our luggage- all the staff (maybe owners, not sure) were standing around looking at us. Not one person offered help, said good morning or even a simple hello. We were then told that breakfast was over and the kitchen was closed (when we never asked- it was also only 10:15 am) When we tried asking a couple questions about the ferries- instead of being helped at all, we were told they “don’t know” and we weren’t even pointed in the right direction. So, not only was it beyond awkward when none of the staff was speaking but then even more strange when we were basically told they wouldn’t be offering us anything as far as help/food/drink goes. It was a very strange experience to say the least. If you want to feel welcomed at all, or at the very least treated with respect- don’t stay here.

Lovely holiday

Anna and her family were very welcoming from the moment we got here, the views from our terrace were amazing and we were lucky to have the pool pretty much to ourselves throughout our stay. We used Uber to get around, there is a bus, the number 10 that goes through to Dubrovnik, we also went to the local steak house one night which was very nice. We booked a day trip to Bosnia one day to see the waterfalls and visit Mostar too. The kitchen we found to be sufficient for cooking meals and there was a washing machine in our apartment as well which came in handy for swimwear and beach towels. We had a lovely holiday and would recommend for anyone who wants to visit Dubrovnik but doesn’t want to stay right in the hustle and bustle of it all.

Reviewed By DameReeves2020We spent 4 nights in one of the white cabins on the camping section; 2 adults and 2 13yr old girls. We could definitely have stayed longer. The homes are spacious, exceptionally clean and you have everything you need for a relaxing self catering holiday - a big supermarket 3 min walk over the road. the site has a number of restaurants and bars on the sea front, we didn’t eat in any of them but enjoyed drinks at sundown. Cheap water taxi rides to Korcula Ols Town in the evening made it a perfect blend of sun, sand, sea and pool holiday with the bustle of the beautiful town nearby. Perfect for anyone with young children all the way to late teenagers as so many options of=n what to do and where to go on a very safe site.

Amazing view!
Reviewed By Kipuka83The 4 apartments in this building have a large, very modern, shared kitchen on the 2nd floor with a very large balcony. The view is amazing and we spent many evenings staring out over the sea and the lights of Dubrovniks old town. We were even lucky enough to see an amazing fireworks display on our last night! We had an apartment on the 3rd floor with a large tilt window. Our apartment had its own little kitchenette, fridge and small dining table so we rarely used the large shared kitchen down stairs. The apartment is modern and comfortable, the shower is also great and the bathroom has small soaps and shampoos available and also a hairdryer. The landlady was also wonderful, she welcomed us with a drink upon arrival and even gave us a bottle of excellent Croatian wine to taste. We felt very welcome and taken care of. The apartment is located quite far up the hill and if you want to walk from the old town it is quite a long trek up hill with A LOT of stairs. Of course you can always take a taxi. I recommend taking a taxi from the airport since the nearest busstop is still quite a steep walk up hill away from the apartment. The landlady will gladly arrange a pick up for you. The only negative we could think of about the apartment was that the mattress and pillows were a bit too soft for us. Otherwise everything was excellent.

7 night heavenly stay
Reviewed By rap134My wife and I spent 7 nights at this accommodation. What can we say other than everything was perfect. When I say Perfect I mean from the owner to the maids to the waiters everyone made you welcome & part of the family. Our room was spotless & modern with a balcony. Food at the flamingo is spot on. Freshly cooked & a good choice. Breakfast was very good with plenty of selection of hot & cold food. The roof top terrace with gym, sauna & hot tub is amazing. A real quality add on. Location is perfect for local bus routes. I must add that if you have walking difficulties then accessing the beach area is quite a steep descent & quite a difficult ascent. But taxis are easy to get if required. Easy access to the airport as only approximately 10 minutes away but without the aircraft flying over you.

Nous n’y sommes rester qu’une seule nuit car nous étions de passage mais nous recommandons fortement ce lieu très bien situé entre l’aéroport de Dubrovnik et la vielle ville. Ps : une piscine très agréable...

In area close to bus stop and walking distance to restaurants and beach. Host was very friendly and helpful. No breakfast; however, did have coffee machine in common area. We were there to explore city and this place was perfect to have as home base each day

Reviewed By BrookeMoralesThis is a superb place, modern, squeaky clean with everything you might need. Towels, toilet products , even coffee for the morning. Plenty of space in the apartment and a nice balcony. The apartment is very conveniently located, an easy ride into town , per bus, a very short walk to beach, many restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets, pharmacy etc.. In the middle of everything but still quiet. Ines is very nice, she will meet you at the apartment and explain everything. She also organised transfer from and to the airport. Fantastic place, highly recommended.
