I have been frequenting this pizza shop a lot over the past few months since I have been working in the area. I have tried their bruchetta pizza, regular cheese slice, Sicilian slice and their water ices. Overall, their pizza is pretty decent. I prefer the sicilian pizza over the regular thin crust as it does not seem as salty. Their regular pizza is too salty for me. The bruchetta slice was good, but I was surprised that it had red peppers on it in addition to tomatoes. That was a shock when I took a bite. Water ices were really good and cheap. We had the blueberry, mango and the candy fish flavors. Service has usually be fast. I can order a whole sicilan and pick it up within 20 minutes...so that is pretty fast. Staff has been OK. The more I have visited, the friendlier they have gotten. Interior is NO Frills, just some booths to dine at once you get your order from the take out counter. I have really only gotten pizza, but they serve up other items too.I would recommend and will most likely be back.

We have been here numerous times before. It is one of our go-to places for a nice sit down lunch, even on short time. During the lunchtime hours, they offer express lunch. So, when we arrive we just tell them we are on break and they rush the order. Generally we just order a large pizza, which is pretty quick anyway. Our favorite is the Margherita pizza with EXTRA sauce. At lunchtime, a house salad is included free of charge in addition to a basket of dinner rolls with seasoned olive oil for dipping. I enjoy their house Italian dressing as it is one of the my favorite dressing ANYWHERE. Their dinner rolls are warm and crusty. Pizza has a nice crust: not too hard and not to chewy. Cheese on the Margherita pizza is real fresh mozzarella balls, which is nice. Sauce is sweet. Overall, we had another great visit with Bertucci. Our waiter was excellent. He had us in and out in no time at all. He was friendly and professional. Food was excellent. Atmosphere is casual, yet nice. There is a bar area with TVs on location if that interests you. Had a very good dinner there plenty enough for two. The meat sauce was very good. The special ravioli was excellent and served hot and large portions. The salads where fresh and just the right size. The server was polite and attended to our needs. We will be back.

Our family always stops at this CPK on our way to stay over at Philadelphia airport. Always good. My favorite salad is the warm vegetable and my son likes the bbq chicken pizza. Great Mac and cheese on the kids menu. I love that they have La Crema wine to go with my pizza. This is a sure bet for dinner with teenagers!

Had a very good dinner, chicken parm and lobster ravioli. The portions where very large enough for two meals. The chicken was cooked just right and the pasta was very good. The lobster ravioli was very good and the side salads where large and fresh. The rolls where not of my liking, hard and not warm, the service was very good and they where prompt with the orders. The price was a little high but for a little ship with only about 8 tables the prices where high Chicken parm was 14.95 and the lobster ravioli was 17.95. We will be back

My husband, daughter, and I were visiting family in Newark, and we found this great little Italian place in a nondescript strip mall while looking for a liquor store in Suburban Plaza during Christmas week. Amalfi is Italian owned and thus offers some typically Italian dishes other than the requisite pizza and pastas --which are all delicious. What we especially loved were the wonderful side dishes, including braised broccoli rabe, or marinated red peppers and cauliflower, or an excellent Italian salad. Alberto helped us at the counter, and he was attentive and generous. It was later in the evening, so he added a couple of bonus, yummy pizza slices to our order. A very interesting one to try was the "buffalo calamari" slice: who would have thought?!Atmosphere is very casual, and you can eat in or order at the counter for takeout. We look to returning to Amalfi on our next trip to DE!

We first tried their pizza when it was food truck service only. It's only improved when the pizza shop was opened! The pizza, including the crust and sauces, is consistently delicious and is made to order. They also have a small cooler of craft sodas and a deli cooler of antipasto/potato salad type things. They do their own version of rice crispy treats with extra added things for flavor and sometimes have dessert bars. Their website's menu is updated weekly to reflect their new specialties (hugely divergent!) for pizza and desserts. I try to be patient and wait til 3:30 on Wednesday, at least, to discover the new items. They are closed more than most pizza places but it's very worth the wait. During the week they aren't open til 4 PM. There is indoor seating and they do serve alcoholic drinks. The parking area is a little triangle of space with room for maybe 6-10 cars, if that, and it can be a little tricky to back out onto a street that's often busy. You might want to consider trying to find street parking before you arrive. They have a page on facebook that you might want to take a look at, as it often has photos of the weekly offerings. We no longer live in Newark but it's worth a drive to get a specialty pizza we're interested in.

Nice interior, a large bar and cozy dining room. Service was very good, pro.pt and professional. Appetizers of clams (very good) and grilled artichokes (just ok, fresh arugula salad accompanied it, it was better than the artichokes. The artichokes were just hearts thrown on the grill, not the whole I was expecting). Chicken marsala was very good, large portions. I would definitely go again and try the pizza and.pasta, they looked excellent.
