The man at the front desk was so nice and even when he was swamped with a bunch of us checking in at one time he never stopped smiling. The shuttle driver was extremely nice and made sure I could get in and out ok. The hotel itself was one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in. Definitely would recommend this hotel.

Reviewed By TravellerAmblerOn check-in they ask you if you need your room serviced over your stay as if you remembered to pack your crystal ball and know exactly whether or not you’ll need this service for as long as you’re there. That question should have been a giveaway - I checked in and went to my very generic hotel room only to find that the toilet had not been cleaned. They moved me to another room but in that room the bedsheet had a stain. At this point I was done moving so dealt sleeping in a stainless part of the bed. Over my two-night stay I got a total of 6 hours of sleep and felt awful leaving on the last morning. The hotel’s only saving grace is proximity to the town center. The breakfast was OK although my omelette tasted a little burned. See if you can find somewhere else to stay in Decatur.

Could use more linens in the room also. The cabinet in the room that houses the fridge and microwave was very shaky and needs replaced. Over decent for the $

The manager was the nicest person that I have met in a long time. Very personable and offered a lot of information about the city including places to visit and eat. The room was spacious and clean. Reviewed By crider2727This whole hotel looked and smelled clean...no musty or cigarette odors. No trash in the room. The bed was very comfortable and there was even a comfy recliner! The mobility accessible room was close to the lobby. Every staff member was friendly, courteous, and helpful.. We were very pleased with this Baymont and will definitely stay here on our next trip to Decatur/Forsythe. P.S. There is a Cracker Barrel, other restaurants, and a mall nearby.
