The view is excellent, the service is just as expected, the food is mostly ok. We had vegetable soup and tomato soup (with rice), chicken steak and pork in bacon, all fine, tuna steak is too salty. Skip the wine of the house. You can pay by card, cash in kuna or in euro, the exchange rate is the parity all the exchange offices have in the area.

Creative cuisine and interior design, synergy of traditional local and contemporary influences, original paintings and ceramics on the walls and on tabletop decoration, good option for private dinning.

Had a dinner at this restaurant tonight. Were nicely surprised to receive tap water (good in Croatia) after asking for water.Interior was nice and food presentation lovely but unfortunately food itself was pricey and only average - something that I could prepare on my own without difficulty. We had black pasta and sea bass. Nobody asked if we would like to have deserts etc... and sat waiting about 20min for the check although restaurant wasn’t full.

The restaurant is very nice and have a good service. It is very popular so we recommend you to book in advance to get a table. We came without a reservation, but they managed to find a table to us if we came back 30-40 minutes later. We were very happy for that. Both of us ordered todays fish filet that was tuna. As side we had boiled potatoes and spinach that was recommended to us. The tuna filet was extremely tender and very good. The only thing we were missing was some more taste either through the side or as a sauce. If you are ever in Makarska this is a restaurant that we would recommend to visit.

The greeting we received was excellent and the welcome pate and bread was appreciated. The wine recommended was exceptional and the 2 soups to start tasteful and could recommend it. One of the main courses was slow cooked lamb probably reheated, overcooked and tasteless. The deserts were average. Then the evening changed, a table for 4 next to was occupied by 4 locals who continuously smoked. When we booked the table they knew we were non smokers so a table in a non smoking area could have been set aside, but it seems every other person in Croatia smokes which is allowed. We was looking forward to finishing our holiday with a first class meal which was not the case. Dear guest,Thank you for your review. We are glad that you visited our restaurant. About the lamb you were eating, it is not often that someone is not pleased with our lamb. That lamb is from Croatian farms, always fresh. It is cooked for 5-7 hours. But, we can leave with that, we are aware that mistakes are part of our business, it happens sometimes, but lucky for us not so often. You told you were unhappy with lamb and we removed it from your table and gave you steak "Riva" instead. You were delighted with steak and we think that it is little bit unfair not to mention that. Also that we offer you desert on the house that to did not want, instead you took glass of vine. Like that, we are also pretty sure that you mentioned that you are non smokers that we would try to please you and find you a table somewhere on a side. But again when some guest are entering in a restaurant and they are going to sit at the table next to you, we can not ask them do they smoke. You have to understand that smoking on a terrace is allowed in Croatia, and we can do nothing about that. Asking and splitting people on a smokers and non smokers on the terrace where smoking is allowed it would be an encroachment on human rights. Give us another chance sometimes, we are sure you will be happy next time ;)Best regards, Riva stuff

We were recommended this restaurant from a friend who had recently visited and we couldn't fault a thing. We chose a table outside and were offered a blanket. Service was efficient and friendly. I enjoyed a battered shrimp with salad dish and my husband had the Hill Billy Steak which he almost struggled to finish. We found room for dessert which they kindly served on a board in the middle of the table so we could share. Prices are on a par with the UK. Worth a visit for sure!

Cozy restaurant away from the main square. Delicious food but the star attraction is their seafood platter for 2. Very generous servings of whole fish, prawns, squid, scamp mussels and clams all cooked simply but beautifully. Staff were friendly and service was good.

Went here twice as was nice and close to our hotel. Food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. We were just disappointed that on either occasion were there any dessert. Would go back bra size the starter and main were great, it would just have been nice to finish it off with a sweet.

Excellent wines by the glass here. Especially whites - Posip Intrada Krajancic 2018 & Malvazia Fakin 2018. Reds - Cuvee Jakob 2017 & Red Cuvee Vostinic-Klasnic 2016. We had Tapas dishes - Bruschetta & Sliders. They no longer sell foreign wines, except Champagne & Prosecco. Still with so many great Croatian wines why bother Highly recommended.

We dropped in to this restaurant on the promenade for a cocktail as there was a discount advertised during happy hour. The atmosphere was very quiet and seating area outside stuffily warm without air conditioning. It turned out that the discount offer only applied to take away cocktails so we took it graciously. Our purchases were ok but I have tasted stronger drinks in macdonalds. Not for those in search of alcoholic refreshment! Dear people at Breakfastbloggers, Thanks for you review. I'm terribly sorry that you feel misled for the happy hour sign that states 20% off on all drinks to go; where we are offering refreshment drinks by discount prices for people on beach on hot afternoon. The thing I'm not sorry for, is not air conditioning outdoor area. Among many other tings we are being aware of our planet and energy consumption. We have indoors air conditioned area, and outdoor area has two fans for the air flow to feel a bit of breeze on hot August afternoon. As for our cocktails, we are always searching for improvements for everything on our menu. Your comment means a lot and we will focus on our cocktails first thing. All the best, Josip Tomas
