Arrived quite late at Malaga airport and by the time we arrived Marieangela had left so we had the code to enter the guest house and settle ourselves in. It’s super clean, quiet and comfortable. Facilities are shared and there is a kitchen with all required basics. Each room has its own cupboard for food and shelf in the fridge. We managed to park in the street though we were lucky. There are plenty of pay for parking garages close by if you have a car and not lucky enough to bag a parking spot (all free and unrestricted.

Cheap, clean, convenient

We popped into Torremolinos on our way back to our villa - ended up drinking too much to drive hope, so hoped onto Agoda and Booking.com to find a room. This place is on Nogalera- where all the gay bars and clubs are. You pay online and are sent a code to access the building and the hotel. We booked. 40€. The double room was medium size, clean, good bathroom, towels and soap - it was quiet and literally 200m from the revelry. Would book again in caught out.

Simply amazing

After securing some mega cheap Ryanair flights we were on the hunt for some cheap and cheerful accommodation. When we came upon this hostel (by the way don’t let the word hostel put you off it’s what we in the UK would definitely liken to a hotel) we thought wow how could somewhere so nice looking be so cheap (we paid £86 for two nights!! Total) Well all I can say is we struck gold! The whole place is absolutely immaculate the position is great literally a five minute stroll to the lovely beach and close to the beautiful old town. We have been blessed with wall to wall sunshine and lovely temps for 2 days which means we have made full use of our private terrace! We paid a little bit more for a suite (webhad the Costa Del Sol suite) and so glad we did. (We could have got a standard room for just £60 for two nights!) Gorgeous comfy bed unbelievable shower and the room also had a hairdryer and iron! We also had a coffee machine and tea! The receptionist was very friendly although we only saw her on arrival. The only slight negative is that I never received any response from emails I had sent prior to our arrival but that really wouldn’t put me off in any way. If we return to Marbella we wouldn’t stay anywhere else! 5 stars!

Excellent, simple, comfortable and a great base for a short trip to Malaga.

After a shaky start following a key mishap the owners upgraded us to room 4 without being asked, this was greatly appreciated. This was large, had a very comfortable bed, writing desk and chair and had a large en suite. One of the best features for us was a patio door leading to a huge balcony with outdoor carpeting and outdoor sofa. Views down towards the city and across to a wooded hillside were fabulous, the sunsets were superb. There is access to a very well equiped shared kitchen with a large fridge, microwave, kettle etc and plenty of utensils. A comfy lounge with a large TV, tables and chairs if you needed them. The big outside terrace area is beautiful, hammocks under a lemon tree, chairs and tables, couple of barbecues and a shaded sofa area. The location is excellent , only a 20 minute walk into the city centre and far enough out to be quiet and peaceful. It is up a steep short hill and the pavements in the area are narrow so if you are not so fit or needing a wheelchair its probably not for you. Lots of little convenience stores, bars and cafes in the area are handy if you don't want to walk right into the city centre. If you are happy with a clean and simple hostel type of place we would 100% recommend it, we loved it !

Amazing stay with fabulous staff and service

Reviewed By familylondon

We held a birthday party at the Lodge in September for around 30 people. Everyone stayed either at the Lodge or at the lovely hotel. The service was fantastic, relaxed and flexible. Nothing was too much bother, the team were clearly very experienced at running events and for the weekend set up tables and chairs in the garden for the larger meals, organised transport for the guests coming from the hotel, produced a delicious birthday cake ( with not much notice) and generally sorted out any minor glitches. All was done with great charm. We had the private chef for several nights again with fantastic food. One of the cleaners even offered to drive a guest to Ronda when his taxi was late so he wouldn't miss his train. All our guests had an amazing time so much so that some booked to stay extra days at the hotel! I would highly recommend the Lodge (and hotel) for events like this or for a family holiday or group of friends staying. The flexibility means you can self cater, have all meals provided or somewhere between the two. Plus it definitely looks better in real life than in the pictures! Thanks again to the great team.

On the GR7 walking route

Stopped here for two nights whilst walking the GR7 - Casa Paz y Mas is just a few meters off route and we had such a warm welcome from Luka. Rooms are great with everything you need including a Nespresso coffee machine! The most amazing view from our own terrace and a pool overlooking the whole valley. As we didn’t have a car Luka even gave us a lift into town for dinner. What more could you ask for?
