Casa de Indias: excellent value
Reviewed By Serge JI stayed at the Case de Indias on a hike along the southwestern coast of Spain. It was so nice that I decided to stay two nights instead of one. The hotel is, I think, a former patrician house. It has been totally renovated and the room I had, a suite, was large and nicely decorated. There was plenty of space in the bathroom and there was absolutely everything I needed. I had breakfast on my last day, with fresh fruit and a range of local baked and dairy products. I would have tried everything on offer but I had to limit myself; I did not want to gain weight on a trip meant to help me cut my speck. Staff were highly attentive. Oh, and it was really quiet a night, a luxury in this day and age. Overall, it was excellent value for money.

A little gem
Reviewed By Alison-in-AndaluciaWe stayed here for two nights recently and couldn't fault it. It's a village house that's been tastefully renovated with a lovely rooftop terrace with sea views. The fern covered well in front of the reception desk is a definite talking point. Our room was small but beautifully decorated with hand painted whales on the walls, had a lovely comfy bed and a gorgeous bathroom with a big walk in shower. We were on the ground floor right next to reception hut didn't hear any noise. Breakfast is served on the rooftop - there was a good selection of cereals, juice, pastries, fruit, meat and cheese with lovely fresh bread, and the coffee was delicious. It's in walking distance of plenty of bars and restaurants not to mention the fantastic beach. There's parking on the seafront which was free as it was out of season.

Paraiso Perdido or Lost Paradise is a family run boutique B&B retreat located in the hart of southern province of Cadiz within a very short drive to many of the magnificent beaches of Costa de la Luz such as Calas de Roche, La Barrosa, Fontanilla, El Pal Mar etc. To its guests it offers a comfortable accommodation of good size double, triple bedrooms, family suites all with kitchenettes and two cottages, situated in large gardens with swimming pool, kids area, table tennis and a private cook with restaurant area in a cosy Moroccan desert tent. Breakfast, that is included in the rates, is served in front of your door making it more pleasurable homier experience.

Excellent food
Reviewed By GMRGibraltarJust tried the restaurant which is 100 metres from the Hostal,and to be honest very surprised at quality of the food.Typical spanish Venta style restaurant with some very interesting plates on their menu. The Carillada and Solomillo in Pedro Ximenez was great.All home made food and service is excellent. Salad was a bit over priced but apart from that prices are reasonable for the area.

Reviewed By Susan1405Booked to stay 5 nights end of September with friends. On arrival was handed visa receipt showing payment on credit had been taken TWO days earlier. Not standard practice and when queried receptionist with limited English was unable to explain why. When shown our rooms we began to understand why. Situated directly off of the Reception area with no external windows, no facility for storing clothes and hardly any room to move around. When ask if we could change room was told to speak to manager on his arrival later. Manager said he would try to change next day. Following day they said they would try next day but as I suffer a little from claustrophobia and had little sleep, found alternative accommodation. Our friends stayed as their room was slightly bigger and confirmed that room had been re-let the hotel refused to refund nights we didn't stay and have ignored subsequent correspondence.

También, cuenta con un mini-market con prensa, pan, hielo, bebidas, etc. Y dispone de una peluquería y salón de belleza propio, que trabaja bajo cita previa.
Very good price, good location for Conil or Chiclana
Reviewed By terryR1508Rooms are a bit basic but good value for the price. The Bathroom could certainly do with upgrading. The staff are very friendly and helpful, but do not speak English, so you need basic Spanish. The food was a good standard and again very reasonably priced. Free Wi Fi. The location is good for travelling around the area, but it was a good 3 miles from the fabulous beaches at Roche. There is a small super market on site and plenty of Ventas / restaurants in the area. There is a 'Service RED' ATM on site, also a petrol station literally next door, but not intrusive in any way. Popular with the locals so car park in front of the hotel nearly impossible in the evening but an overflow at the back of the hotel, all off road. It was ideal for me as I had business in Conil, Chiclana and Roche.
