As a local resident, I am constantly amazed by the lineups here. The ice cream is great, but I think it has become a tradition for people to try different flavours every visit. Free ice cream pails are a nice touch. Service is fast and pleasant. If visiting the Calgary area, it is worth the 20 minute trip. Easy to stop in on the way to or from Banff!

We’ve eaten here a number of times and I must say I find the food to be very good. The service is always excellent, the waiters have been kind, helpful, and very knowledgable. We are vegans and we appreciate the staff at this restaurant. The staff are completely understandable of our dietary needs and what the choices we need to pick from the very delicious and comprehensive menu. The meals are reasonably priced and we always leave the restaurant feeling we received a very good meal for the amount we spent. I always believe that if a restaurant has great food and service, and their prices are good, you will always return. And we have been back several times and will definitely return in the future.

The best is the soup. Each day there are about 10 soups to choose from. They are cooked from staples daily. Personally, I prefer cream based ones. Pulled pork is another must have for me. Bread also freshly baked every day. Lunch time always, you 've got to wait in line. If you dare, try the "I don't know what I am going to eat " one. Good services from young people. Everything is nice and clean.

Once again, Jaipur India cuisine has amazed us with their mouthwatering food and attentive service. We started with some Indian appetisers Char bhag platter and our all time favourite veggie Bhajia which was accompanied with spicy mint chutney and temerind sauce. For our main course curries and Naan with some biriyani did not let us stop eating. Thank you Jaipur for your delicious food and very personalise service. We will definitely see you soon once we visit to Cochrane.

Dusty old Cochrane, tucked west of Calgary and long forgotten by most Albertans, is enjoying a resurgence of popularity, growth and [most enjoyably] some very good restaurants. Thanh Thy is a great example of the new-found prosperity and ingenuity among these local chefs who are setting excellent standards for freshness and quality.
My family visited Thanh Thy in July 2017 for a quick lunch and we were delighted. Service was fast, portions were generous, prices were reasonable. We were seated promptly, greeted properly and our lunches arrived in ten minutes or so. I checked out the dining room and lavatory and everything was very clean and proper. We saw no signs of the sloppy service "TJR" reported in his visit.
My nephew, who lives in Cochrane, reports this is his "go to" restaurant for great food at reasonable prices. I would agree, and when I visit again I will make every effort to re-visit Thanh Thy

I was surprised at first that there was an authentic Thai vegan/vegetarian restaurant in Cochrane, but it's a little gem! This is an authentic Thai restaurant serving vegetarian/vegan food made by two sisters from Thailand. There are all the typical Thai dishes but with a bit of a flare. The green curry and the satay sticks were really good. Pad Thai was decent but would try something else next time. Service is average but the food is worth it. The desserts were tasty as well. You can do a dinner set for $25 which includes an appetizer, a meal and a dessert, which is pretty good. We definitely will go back and try it again!

This is a Cochrane gem, and well worth the drive from Calgary. My Greek Plate presents a lovely variety of Greek staples, very pleasant service and VERY generous portions that can be packed to take home if you can't finish everything. Shout-out to the lemon and egg soup and the pecan-encrusted sole (or was it a another nut?)
The only exception to a fantastic lunch was that I could've used a little more time between the soup and the main courses, which were brought to the table before we had even finished.
Otherwise, highly recommended and we will be sure to return some time.

I've been going here since it opened several years ago. Best donairs I've had and always consistent. The owner is always pleasant and talkative.
My only complaint was the size of the location, but due to the success, they have recently moved into a larger space just a couple yards away.
Popular place, so grab lunch early or you might be in a lineup!

We work closely with the roasters to ensure that we are providing the highest quality product available. Our baristas are carefully trained to maintain amazing quality with each cup.

This is a clean, well decorated coffee shop. Prices seem a bit on the steep side. Staff seemed more interested in chatting with each other than helping me and as a result I didn't end up ordering food, just a drink even though I had come in to do both. The tea was good, just not worth the price. Especially with the mediocre customer service. They have a small selection of hot food and some nice looking pastries. Very little in the way of fresh stuff as I had been hoping for a salad.
