Great place to stay
Reviewed By lmk171949Hotel has been newly remodeled. An excellent job on the décor. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the anytime coffee and cappuccino and hot coffee machine. The hot breakfast was excellent. We were there 3 nights and each morning they had a different cut up fresh fruit. One day it was watermelon, strawberries the next day and cantaloupe the last day. Also had biscuits and gravy, sausage and cooked eggs each day. The yogurt machine with dried fruit and granola toppings was also great. Shan Patel at the front desk was wonderful. He was friendly, made sure we had everything we needed, helped us with questions and was always immediately available. We would highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here the next time we are in the area.

Reviewed By JOELC253This hotel has great woodsy atmosphere. All the positives of camping and none of the negatives. This place has comfort. The public areas and the rooms are nicely decorated with a hunting and fishing theme. The beds are great. The breakfast was very good, but short of the best because there was no meat such as bacon or sausage. There was plenty of social distancing and the area was clean and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We had it to ourselves. The pool is a little warmer than most and just the way I like it. In the evening there is an outdoor fire pit. We didn't use it because it was raining. Maybe next time. Yes there will be a next time.

Helpful team at the Courtyard although many amenities still lacking post-Covid
Reviewed By HowIzzThizHotel can be difficult to find from the main road. Lobby seems to have been recently updated, it looks quite modern and has plenty of small tables and electrical outlets. The guest rooms themselves are pretty old and tired looking, although on the plus side they have balconies overlooking the courtyard. Staff members are friendly and helpful, although a lot of amenities seem to be unavailable (no water in the lobby, pool is closed, no housekeeping etc.). Seems like Covid is always used as a blanket excuse for removing amenities these days. The cafe by the reception offers some decent breakfast choices and Starbucks coffee, although it closes by 9:30am so not great if you are a late riser.

Reviewed By nacolecufrWas told there was a pool open several times. Then was rudely told it has been closed for 2 years. Plus staff was rude and told me to check out and find a new hotel. We checked out in the middle of the night because or room was so cramped.

Terrible staff - and Gross room

Unclean “Penthouse” with outdated carpet.. toilet was dirty, outlet in the middle of living room floor - you had to purchase wood to use the fireplace.. Dirty dishes in the dishwasher and in the cabinets - I called and asked to be put in a different room- and the lady Rosie never came to do so. Whilst checking out I asked for the manager and told him I was unhappy with my stay and the cleanliness of the room especially amidst COVID. It is a very sketchy place with rude staff- manager told me “It all ends with him” wouldn’t give me contact information to file a complaint. I was told I was being refunded then told I stayed in the room so I wasn’t getting one. Rosie the housekeeper at the front cursed me out in front of the manager and he did little about it . I was told I was not cursed at lol- what in the hell.. a travesty that this place is open. Very much Howard Johnson quality . Both of my kids and I have been running a temperature after staying there . Not happy at all.
