Gaslight Bed & Breakfast

Situated on a hilltop site in the historic Gaslight District of Clifton, the Gaslight B & B offers plush hospitality with quick access to the University of Cincinnati and downtown Cincinnati areas. This elegant 4 story home welcomes you with waving willow branches and a soft, bubbling waterfall, giving you feelings of leisure and coziness. These exterior delights are only a preview of the luxury and hospitality to come. Built in 1909, the house suffered extensive damage in a terrible fire on New Year's Eve 1998. Lovingly restored by owners Scott and Maria Crawford, the house offers all of the modern conveniences a busy traveler needs, yet retains the charm of the original stained glass windows and hardwood floors throughout. The original house boasted an in-law suite at the front second floor of the house. In the renovation, the "in-law" entrance was preserved for use as a separate entrance for guests. We hope you arrive as guests, but leave as friends.

Great B&B with delish food!

This B and B was lovely and the hosts were terrific. The bedroom was very comfortable and well decorated and there were lounges on each floor where you could relax. The breakfasts were as good as anywhere- especially the blueberry and lemon curd pastry- that was one of our best meals we had on a 3-week trip!

Staff was welcoming and helpful with directions. Housekeeping was quick to respond to an issue and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Management has done an excellent job hiring and training staff to represent Marriott and care for their guests.

Wonderful Surprise in OTR

Reviewed By Phoebe H

We loved this hotel! All the rooms decorated after composers made it quite interesting. Our room did have an ensuite bath (which I had made sure of) and everything was tastefully appointed. It was very quiet, hostess was so helpful, and having safe secure parking (included in the price) was wonderful! Had not seen a garage with crystal chandeliers before! We had both the weekday and weekend breakfast altho we had to leave early on a Saturday. We found the bed quite comfortable and would definitely stay again. We heard some of the jazz but were unable to eat there as we were meeting up with family.

Zoo trip

Reviewed By Meganj52

Chose this hotel for the proximity to the zoo. Check in staff was nice. Hotel appeared clean. My children were very disappointed the pool was out of service due to some chemical imbalance problem. One of the main reasons we stayed here was the use of an indoor pool. The staff couldn’t tell me if the pool would be useable for the rest of my stay. We had a nice stay except for the disappointment of the pool.

True Hospitality and Kindness at Six Acres BnB

Reviewed By kiyomid2022

We were blown away by the hospitality and kindness we received at Six Acres. Our host was a wealth of information about the local area and had so many tips to enjoy Cincinnati. It seems the building is aging as one would expect of a house of this age. I hope more folks find this hidden gem and keep it shining!
