Top notch pizza. Friendly atmosphere. Good service. These people have really made an effort to provide what seems to me authentic Italian food. I should say I have never been to Italy, but Pizzeria Tintarella was recommended to me by an Italian foodie, and so I went and enjoyed.

The pizzas and the dishes in general have improved since they employed an Italian pizzaiolo (pizza maker) and his Japanese wife who learned to cook in Florence. Definitely a place to come back as prices are affordable and food is very good.

This was, so far, the only really good pizza I've eaten in Japan. The place is smart and modern, and reasonably priced. Service was very friendly. I tried what seemed to be a Japanese brand of red wine, offered by the glass. It was velvety and full-bodied, delicious. Their desserts are very good too. All at a very reasonable price.
