"Tsukiji Tamazushi" is a sushi restaurant which is in "The Kashiwa Takashimaya Station Mall", in Chiba. The appearance of the entrance is attractive, for example, it is decorated with artificial bamboo trees, a short cobblestone lane and a noren which means Japanese curtain even though the restaurant is inside the building. As you know, sushi-go-round restaurants are popular and known as traditional Japanese culture. However this restaurant uses the style of sushi bar. There are also table seats but I and my family usually take a seat at the bar because we can enjoy conversation with sushi chef and we can see the process of making sushi. Chefs are attentive and humorist so I can get bits of knowledge related to fish and sushi from them. Furthermore, lightning is soft and darkish, and it is not loud so we can dine in a relaxing atmosphere. There are variety of set menu and tasty appetizers. Also, we can choice what we want to eat. The price is expensive if it is compared with sushi-go-round restaurant, but we can eat fresh and good quality of dish. It may be too expensive for general students to go there with friends, though it is able to use there for the special day if you choose a reasonable set. I have tried some sets before and the last time I ordered "koyuki-nigiri", which costs 1890 yen. It includes nine pieces of sushi, miso soup and ice cream. It became one of my favorite dishes because the size was suitable for me and receive satisfaction from it. I also ordered steamed egg hotchpotch and it took a long time to do it. I recommend to order it early on so that you are able to eat it in a good timing. "Maguro-no-hohoniku-yaki" (tuna-cheek-meat-steak) was so delicious. I felt it was not enough for 1050 yen. However I sheared it with my family and we ate all of them so fast. The fish meat was tender and the taste of sauce was sweet and a little spicy. Next time, I would like to eat it again. Food, chef, atmosphere, place, everything is good and there is my favorite sushi restaurant. My family has visited there for a long time since I was a small. You will get a high quality of hospitality in the restaurant.

ランチメニュー若菜を注文。にぎり５貫・サラダ・味噌汁・そしてあんみつ付きで税込み１０８０円。お得ですよね。あんみつのアイスクリームはバニラと抹茶のどちらかを選べるんです。女性には嬉しい！女性客はもちろんのこと家族やサラリーマンの方もいました。また次回来ようと思います。

久しぶりに入りました。前回よりスタッフの方の対応はとても良かったです。夏休みで家族ずれが多く少し待ちましたがボックス席に案内されました。このお皿の取り方、わかっているのですが取りずらいですが、ふたをしていることで衛生的にいいんだなぁと。パネルでの注文もできるので安心しています。しゃりもネタも１００円では美味しかったです。フェアもあり、ふぐの3種盛り200円も良かったです。上まぐろ１貫で２００円でしたが美味しかったです。

南柏駅6号線右折、次の信号左側にあります。昼過ぎ3時ころ入ったのですいていました。味噌汁無料でした。生ビール524円、ハイボール380円を飲みながら注文しました。回転ずしでは高めですが、やはり美味しいですよ。回転ずしということで一人でも入りやすいので行きたくなりますね。

I had 3 of my dinners while I was in Kashiwa because it's near the hotel I was staying, and it rained a lot. Ordering was not difficult using their English menu, as long as you'd look up at the chef they'd immediately attend to you. I got by through pointing and uttering a simple arigatou :) about 9 or 10pm they'd stack up the sushis still on the belt to clear it up so you get a few more sushis per plate. I thought they were closing but turned out that from then they make sushi as ordered instead. Sushi tastes average but I had a pleasant experience.

大学内のレストランでリーズナブルな寿司ランチを楽しめます。店はかなり狭いので、店舗がある研究所ビルのエントランス付近の軒下がオープンテラス席となって、こちらも混雑していました。夏でも風があればそれなりに快適です。はらペコセットという名前のにぎりとうどんのセットメニューを注文。大学を訪れる外国人を意識したものか、巻物はシャリと海苔の順番を逆にしたスタイルでした。

We went to Tsukiji fish market early to eat the famous breakfast sushi meaning that since you are near the worlds largest fish market the sushi fish would be fresh. Unfortunately I am not such a food gourmet to appreciate this type of sushi. My friend of 30 years explained that this is the old Edo type sushi where the fish is prepared to hide the unfreshness by doing things to it, so he paid and stuttered hearing the bill. So couple days later he took me to his favorite sushi place and I was not happy because it was a kaiten sushi or conveyer belt sushi, where you pick up dishes as it goes by. The secret my friend says is to order what you want to the chef and it wasn't bad at all and cheap. 1/4 the price of Tsukiji. There were 4 of us and ate like pigs and came out to be $70 which sounds not so cheap in USD but in Yen its cheap with drinks. All the sushi I ordered directly to the chef was great few of the ones I got off the belt was not so good so just stick with ordering from the chef.
