Terrible staff and dirty room
Reviewed By Happiness373471I stayed at the Mercure hotel in Cergy for 1 month, I was waiting for my appartment to be ready. ALL the staff at the reception were super rude and I have never felt so bad at any hotel. BEAWARE, do NOT Go to this hotel. The staff goes to your room and browses through your stuff. There were other peoples hair in the all over the bathroom. But even though the room is dirty - the STAFF is so much worse. They talk to you so rude and even the head of the staff treats you like s***. When I left the hotel was the happiest day of my life, I never write a review but this time I just have to warn people.

Once inside it was OK.
Reviewed By Peter MArriving late in the evening, we found it hard to enter the car park. The guy at the desk forgot us! I had to walk to the desk twice to get the security gate opened. Once inside, all was well. We were served drinks to take to our room even though the restaurant/bar had shut. Whilst there is no air conditioning and the area was having record summer high temperatures, we could get the room cool enough to sleep easily. Breakfast was good and it was lovely to sit quietly outside. It is a basic and decent hotel.

Reviewed By David EGood clean hotel, friendly staff with helpful advice. The breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of choice, good fresh food. The hotel is easy to find and within a short walk to the port where there is an excellent choice of restaurants. The rooms are a bit cramped, difficult to move around.

Reviewed By MrsjmoLovely suite with comfortable beds and good facilities in the room and the hotel. Extra bedding/ pillows available in suite. We used the pull out sofa for the children which was easy and sturdy / comfortable. Nice buffet breakfast served in the dining room. Local area is quite rural with sheep to the garden area around the carpark. The location was perfect for us. Having just visited Disneyland it’s halfway back to Calais, so breaks the journey well. Great location for exploring; It’s under 15 mins to the train station by car - we parked at station and for 10euro travelled into Paris (train stops by Eiffel Tower). Another ‘must see’ is Auvers-sur-Oise (which is 10 mins by car) to walk the footsteps of Vincent Van Gogh and see his final resting place. Lots of Impressionist/ arts trails close by if you have time.

They did not tell customers they are remodeling the place by the moment of reservation… I arrived here and found a place full of dust… The breakfast is horrible, with dirty dishes from renovation dust (disgusting). There are just very few options for food that they don't replace. Just today I saw the empty chocolate croissant basket and asked for more. Then the waiter shook the basket until a tiny roll landed on my plate… They don't even have mineral water to offer / sell to guests. HORRIBLE!! Total disrespect with guests.
