Hotel shows it’s age , the staff is friendly, the hotel is in a good location, but the hotel was very dirty in areas. Toiletries in bathroom were open and already used. The pool area smells really bad if mildew and the whole area seemed like it needed a good cleaning

Nice staff and great rooms!

Reviewed By B4987KJtinah

Everyone I met at your property was extremely kind and professional. It made my nine day stay there very pleasant. And my breakfasts were always delicious. Nice Greek yogurt and blueberry compote. They even had oat milk and Tazo teas! The rooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated. The air conditioning kept my room at a nice cool temperature. Cable had lots of good movie channels. I highly recommend!

Clean, large, luxurious room.

Reviewed By windchimehill

We were in town for our granddaughters graduation and choose this hotel because it was close by and moderately priced. We got more for our money than we expected. Although this is a small hotel, it is very clean, modern and well maintained. Our king size bed was as luxurious as any upscale hotel and our room was large with all the amenities we could want. The hot breakfast which included eggs, sausage, biscuits and waffles was a real bonus. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Basic and clean hotel

Reviewed By 6827BethM

The rooms are plain and basic. Clean but slight damp smell. Windows are very scuffed up and they overlooked the parking lot. Couldn’t see much out of them. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had an issue with a next door neighbor leaving his dog in the room for over an hour snd the dog was stressed. Barked endlessly. I asked the staff to contact the owner snd they did immediately. The owner asked to me about the call and he took care of it Only disappointment was breakfast: semi warm breakfast tacos with eggs, ham, etc. The cereal choices were limited. Tea and coffee lukewarm. If pets are coming they provide plenty of walking areas with poop bags to use in the front and back of hotel. We were not told that additional towels or cleaning would not be provided due to lack of staff. However, they did bring up extra towels when requested. Paid $170 a night. Not impressed for that kind of money.

This place is a dump, floors were dirty, blood splatter on walls, it was awful. Never stay here, not. Very sanitary. Rai

Awful, Awful, floors in our room needed mopping, they were sticky. I have stayed in motels all over and this was the worst. Rails on stairs were sticky. There is no parking, if you don’t watch for small signs your vehicle could be towed. There was blood splatter on the walls in our room, I would not let my outside dog stay in this dump.

Wouldn't go again

Reviewed By James M

As many people have mentioned this place does NOT include anything....no shampoo, no tissues, no coffee (in your room) or filters. I saw that they had coffee in the lobby, but am sure that you have to pay. As everything that was missing in the rooms are for sale in the lobby. It's extremely noisy here, including being woken on Friday night at midnight by someone banging around, slamming the door. Also, this is a motel, not a hotel. Won't be going back to this place again. Lastly, another reviewer said that the TV didn't have reception, but it wouldn't have mattered as the TV is so small. It reminded me of The Office where Michael had the tiny TV on the wall of his condo.

Our Greatest Hotel adventure in Asheville ever

Reviewed By golden2002

We stayed here for four nights for the first time. The hotel is right in the middle of the downtown "Cool" area. The hotel is a former department store. The renovations are glamourous. We stayed on the top floor. Our room was enormous and very well appointed in an "Art Deco" style. It was beautiful. The staff was fantastic and professional. Valet parking only was good. The adjoining restaurant was so very good. Our stay was one of the very best in Asheville we have ever had.

Stay Away

Reviewed By brandons843

I’m not a mean person as I work in the hospitality industry and have a lot of respect for those who work here. Upon my arrival we checked in immediately pulled the sheets back, what I saw was mind blowing. Giving we are in the midst of a pandemic there were black crumbs under the sheets, a huge yellow stain on the sheets, old toothpaste from a previous guest, stains on the dresser, I called the house keeping supervisor who immediately took care of the sheets and apologized (I appreciate her) I don’t have her name because no one wears nametags.I went dowm stairs to ask for a rubber band the “marketing manager” was was manning the desk stated he had no access to the office. I could go on and on. Toaster was broke for breakfast….the GM more concerned about smokers outside than the inside product. This place is unacceptable and if you like germs, please visit. We went to get our own cleaning supplies to clean and sanitize the room. There were even employees on my floor talking loudly using profanity speaking of a guest who was due to check out but their things were still in the room. Very unacceptable and unprofessional. Upper Management needs to step in honestly and truly…
