Reviewed By betonigarciaGood quality and Friendly staff. Great location. Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom and shower were very clean. Will use and recommend for any future lodging needs. Extremely satisfied with overall stay. I only wish checkout was at noon instead of 11 so that I could enjoy the room longer.

Reviewed By dharper378I would recommend checking out other hotels. The bed was comfy and the rooms were decently clean. Other than that, they don't offer much. They seem to have a very lackluster attitude towards there guest and seem more concerned with cost cutting than providing services. I mean their nightly room rate was higher than the Best Western online rate. So, If you are going to stay at this property, definitely book it through Best Western's online page.

A Great Find
Reviewed By GypsyGranolaI overshot Uvalde and was tired after several miles of road work into Crystal City when I happened on the Quality Inn. I wanted to park in front of my room so I chose this hotel over the four-story one next door. I was tired after a long drive and was grateful for a very comfortable bed, pillows and sheets, a TV with HBO (Game of Thrones!), and a full size fridge in the room. The managers were gracious and the free breakfast hit the spot. I will probably stay here on my return trip.

Finally a hotel to meet all your lodging needs. Kitchen with full size appliances including kitchen ware and washer and dryer. One Queen bedroom suite with separate living room. Desk for workspace. Two Flat screen TV's.
Very Comfortable Stay
Reviewed By gavachoviejoI am honestly surprised the Eagles Den has not gotten more reviews on Tripadvisor. Our first impression was very good. The exterior and grounds are well maintained. We arrived a bit late, about 7:30 PM, and the office was closed. There was a number to call on the door, and on calling the number, our reservation was confirmed and we were told our room was ready and the key inside. We went to the room and found it clean, reasonably cool and very well equipped. The kitchen is good sized and has range, refrigerator (already cold), microwave, flatware, utensils, and a coffeemaker. Both the sitting room and bedroom had flat screen TV's that were connected to Directv. There is a utility closet in the room with full-sized washer and dryer that were clean and in good repair. The bathroom was a bit compact, but that allows for more room in the living space do I am good with that. This suite was better than an apartment I spent a year in working in Albuquerque - and cost less per day. I want to add that not only is this facility pet friendly, they have a large groomed, grassy area at the back that is groomed and perfect for walking your dog. Please help keep it clean! After all this, too keep me honest, I need to hit the points that some travelers will feel are negatives. There is no breakfast, not a big deal with me. The pillows were a little thin - but there were two for each of us. And, the two throw pillows on the sofa, and the small area rug in the sitting room were a bit dingy - not a deal breaker and not surprising when the parking lot is full of work trucks, indicating the most frequent visitors are crews working in area. I will definitely stay here again.

Although it's not a traditional motel, it was very reasonably priced compared to the other places in town which are a lot more expensive due to the oil & gas boom. If you're a large group (4+ persons), you can get a suite with 2 or 3 rooms and kitchen + dining room. The person on the phone was very accommodating and made sure I had the directions to the lodge. Highly recommend this place for a short visit or extended stay.
