A little bar in the middle of a sleepy village. It is owned by a husband and wife team. Dave is the cook. He can turn his hand to anything. He served us personally and cooked especially for us. The food was excellent, well seasoned. I have never tasted lobster the way he does it and you can afford it. He made our evenings in Marigot very enjoyable. Thank you Dave.

We have been to Dominica for two times, 2011 and 2014. Rogers has a simple menu: fish, vegtebels and egg. The fish are absolute fresh, and very good. If you order a day in advance you may have fried chicken as well.

I visited on a Sunday when they had a live reggae performance. The restaurant is along the highway between Marigot and Pont Casse. The restaurant has a great vibe: it's a pretty outdoor patio overlooking a river. Part of the patio is covered, so rain wasn't a problem. We shared some bbq fish (with salad and provisions), drinks, and rum cake. Everything was delicious (so much so that we wanted seconds) and the price was a bargain. I would definitely come back here and would highly recommend it.

We had dinner at Roger's Bar one night while staying at Ocean View apartments. We were starving after a day on the Waitukubuli trail, and ready for a good dinner, which exceeded our expectations. The fish and octopus was absolutely delicious, and the rum punch one of the best we sampled during our tour of the island. But the most memorable part of Roger's Bar was the friendly atmosphere. We had conversations with the owners and the other guests, and the owners' six-year old son Austin proceeded to teach us how to play Dominoes. We felt like we got an unexpected and very authentic taste of not only really good food but also of life in the village of Scotts Head. I can honestly say that that evening was one of the highlights of our trip.

Joan and Al’s guesthouse and restaurant reflect the nature and beauty of Dominica. The landscape is spectacular with lots of friendly birds around to observe. The rooms are very comfortable - you can even pick fruit from the trees near the balcony! We really enjoyed the family team at Le Petit Paradis: Joan cooks delicious, healthy meals and Al is an waiter-extraordinaire! They’ve done well to advertise themselves along the winding, country road - just keep following the signs. Joan and Al are genuine people who are proud of their country. Wotten Waven is a great location to base yourself in order to explore the Southern interior of Dominica. Trafalgar Falls, Middleham Falls, Titou Gorge, the Boiling Lake and loads of other exciting locations are nearby. After an energetic day it’s not far to enjoy healing hot sulphur pools.

This little slice of paradise is owned by a big Canadian named Troy, and he is very welcoming and friendly. His kitchen puts out some wonderful meals. You can get the usual items like cheese burgers and french fries, but also several different fish to choose from, including Lion Fish. We have also had the large River Prawns and Octopus Chowder. and Conch when available. He has a small swimming pool right next to the open pavilion dining area, perfect for the kids to play in,.or even the adults that want to cool off. We eat here often when we are visiting Calibishie.
