Reviewed By bambielocksThis place was awesome! The room and the grounds were very nice. Location was really nice. They only complaint was house keeping knocked on the door around 10 am. But other than that it was a great peaceful stay.

Dead bugs everywhere no Manager anywhere to be found
Reviewed By E4309VXjerryfHorrible service no return phone call from the manager, address major issues with the room. This place is not what they represent on their website. If you want to waste your money staying with partiers smoking pot in front of your kids- go for it. Btw the rooms are not clean with dead bugs everywhere. Carpet is like walking on cement no padding under the carpet and to top it off the Murphy bed is held upright by the cheap green ugly couch. Stay at the Hyatt Hill country it will be less expensive and much nicer for $500 a night. Cabins are old infested with bugs terribly outdated

Reviewed By O2430DNtinawI stayed for 2 nights and 2 days. It was very quiet which is very important because I have a 1 year old. I was by myself with my infant daughter and I felt very safe. The lake is right down the ramp and the view is stunning I would recommend anyone to stay here for an extended period of time. The owner Mark was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very spacious and very clean.

Our 18 room rustic luxury style accommodations are located between Canyon Lake and New Braunfels. All rooms are on a bluff with views overlooking the Guadalupe River and rolling hill country! So kick back and enjoy the quiet hill country rustic style!

Reviewed By CocorebWe were there during Covid. The river view from the porch was relaxing. Wish we could have enjoyed it more but it was chilly! The porch is shared with other guests. We think there was only one other place rented on the property. Even though there is a full size refrigerator, there is only a microwave. We could not find a grill. The unit we stayed in (Rio Grande) was on the end and thankfully we were able to pull the car up to the walkway to unload as there is no back door as are on other units. The only complaint was the AC/Heat unit - we needed heat! It is in the bedroom and kept going off and on all night and then made a whistling noise so it was finally just turned it off. The fireplace saved us! The bed was super comfy. We never saw any employees while there as a result of Covid but that was not a problem. The area around the Hideout appears to have plenty for families or couples to enjoy. I would recommend this place to anyone wishing to enjoy what the river and area has to offer
