I have visited Orsini many times since my last report and every time it is a great experience: personalized, and italian-friendly welcome; nice set tables, far enough from the next one to have private conversations; great menus, excellent food. My favourite is the sole with artichokes, but the venitian veal-liver is second-to-none too.Good wine liste, with prices acceptable for Zurich standards... A lovely experience each time.

Fresh products were prepared deliciously. At the end of a two week trip throughout Europe, my husband and I made reservations at Za'atr to enjoy a last meal before we headed home. We arrived just before 7pm in the very small restaurant (only 4 tables inside) and proceeded to order the mezze platter for two. We got to choose 4 cold dishes and 3 warm dishes and it was CHF 63. The food arrived quickly and totally blew us away with its flavor and freshness. The falafel were the best we've had outside of the Middle East!!! While the restaurant may not look like much from the outside or inside, trust me, it is a hidden gem that you simply must visit! If you would like a seat, I would suggest making reservations which I was able to easily make via email. Definitely stop here while in Zurich if you love Lebanese food!

The cabbie couldn't really find the place because it was not what he was really looking for, I believe. And my wife and I felt more or less the same way. But there it was; not very impressive on the outside, and the inside was only slightly better. But the service was marvelous and the food was superb. The wine list was pretty good, too, BUT -- like everything else in this wonderful old city -- EXPENSIVE. Wow, what a fantastic lunch along the Limmat River in Old Town Zurich! It started with fresh baked bread (delicious) and then I ordered the veal. Zurich Style he says is not breaded, and itâs in a rich mush team sauce that will force you to use the bread to get every drop off the plate. As I did. Wonderful.

Now everyone likes there pizzas differently however this pizza was absolutely fantastic, the crust was nice and thin and the toppings were delicious and fresh! We also had the bruschetta and tiramisu! Highly recommend this place if youâre keen for a large and quality meal!

The food was good, the reservation was smooth, but in general we were very underwhelmed and are puzzled by the fantastically high rating on tripadvisor, which is why we wanted to share a review. This is a restaurant that we would have found by the dozens in London or Singapore where we used to live. The food was fresh and it was very tasty, but the menu was very limited and we could actually not find anything we liked (Vitello Tonnato as the only meat option when there are at least 2 overpriced ravioli dishes, for example; and for fish only the raw tartar...all of this is way too taste-specific and there was non dish that would suit a more general palate. The menu changes every month, and it had changed on that particular day with the menu not available on the website...we actually saw other parties sit down and ask about items on the menu and leave again, but we decided to stay). Desert was also overpriced and not that great. We had a table outside, which was on the sidewalk with many people walking by very close to us (and given it is adjacent to Langstrasse, these people were sometimes not very pleasant or asking us for money). In general, this is a very expensive option for a night out, food is good, but we were looking for an anniversary dinner/special experience, which is clearly was not.Dear chooun14Thank you so much for your review. I arranged with Ahmed from Yalla Habibi for a group of 11 people to have lunch. We pre-ordered a vegetarian mezze plate for everyone to keep it all simple as we were on a tight schedule. The experience could not have been better. The food was fantastic. We started with a small bowl of lenti soup, then lots of wonderful tastes: several fresh mezze items on a large platter for each of us. Everything was beautifully presented, the service was very friendly and attentive. Ahmed and his team took the time to answer questions about specific dishes that were new to us. Great value too.
