As the only restaurant open on a Sunday (apart from our hotel) we were very pleased in choosing to reserve and eat here. The staff were really friendly, helpful and genuinely welcoming to my wife and I. There were plenty of local people eating there, including 2 couples together for one of their party's birthday.

You can sit outside here on a traffic free street. The welcome was genuine, the service attentive and even though the restaurant was busy, our meals came fast. Three of us ordered pizza and they all tucked in enthusiastically. The pizzas are just right in size for one person. I ordered an asparagus salad with ham and enjoyed it - its difficult to get too excited by a salad isn't it. Prices are average for Switzerland.

We were looking for a café near the lake in La Tour de Peilz and managed to spot Le Marina. The signage is not very good - maybe that's why we were able to get a table outside on a public holiday afternoon! The staff were friendly and the cakes looked good, although we didn't try them. There is a small play area next door and a disabled parking space about 50m away. we'll be back to rty the cakes another day!

Expensive for the kind of food served. Not the greatest service, as waiters keep bumping into your chair while walking around. They are also not much interested in serving or welcoming new customers, they prefer talking with their friends...

An other restaurant where we ate twice! The first time we ordered steak frite (deemed the best steak, anywhere, in a long time), and sole - perfectly cooked and flavorful. Both came with the very best fries - crisp, not greasy. Second time we went Italian, with a ravioli special and penne with zucchini and eggplant. Both came with a rose (pink) sauce, not too rich. Homemade tiramisu both times! First evening a customer at the next table offered to help with English translation - introduced himself as a neighborhood volunteer firefighter. The firehouse was around the corner on our walk back to our hotel. Locals come in for beer and wine, and to watch sports on TV. Very good service.

The whole restaurant was booked for an afternoon tea to celebrate an elderly friend's birthday. KymeM Café is very close to Vevey station and has its own car park. Inside it is modern and spotlessly clean. There is a very comfortable lounge area which leads to the spacious dining area. Assorted gateaux were supplied by the party goers and KymeM served teas, coffees and soft drinks. Tea was served from the most magnificent of teapots in a really elegant way by a waiter of distinction. This was a most memorable visit.

We have a apartment directly across the street, and when in Vevey annually choose Molino for Pizza which is always excellent.The homemade pasta with seafood is also one of our favorites here.Always good wine choices.Though a very busy restaurant the service is fast and efficient.We will always return...
