The food is excellent. My wife and I each ordered the fois gras, followed by the filet in Chianti reduction, and finished with the absinthe creme brulee and the chocolate fontant. Somewhere between fine Italian and fine French, with delightful indistinguishability. The service was very good, but not excellent. The occasion was my wife's birthday and I let them know when making the reservation. They sat us in the corner, behind the register, allegedly because it was quieter. It just felt like the corner behind the register -- not special. When we asked to be re-seated, they kindly and eagerly obliged. Server was kind and knowledgeable (and spoke some English for me, which I appreciate). The service really started hitting some bumps between the entre and the main, which took 25 minutes and again, 15 minutes between dinner and dessert. That was too long. They invited us to grappa and limoncello. Very nice, local, Italian, and French wine selection. We enjoyed two different wines from Montepulciano, which were really two of the better selections we've ever had from Tuscany. It's noisy and lively. And that was on a Monday!!! Can't imagine what Saturday night is like, but I'm we'll find out soon. The restaurant is very nicely and comfortably decorated. The "special occasion" seating and the waiting between courses were not great. Everything else was very good. 5/5 is definitely within Sesflo's grasp, but our experience was about 3.5 stars. We're being a little harsh on it because it can easily fix these issues. Hoping for better next time.

We visited without booking and were made to feel very welcome.Food was ordered efficiently and drinks arrived quickly. Drink menu is huge and priced well. Food was quick and delicious. Lots of fresh ingredients were evident. Service was friendly. Will be back.

Prices are crazy like everywhere in Geneve. A pizza 26 franc is incredible for italians people, anyway we had a pizza and carrettiera pasta. Pizza is acceptable and the pasta was good. Service kind and quick

Decent pasta served in a cosy little restarant. Be prepared to queue to get a seat. Decent local wine too. Had a fantastic meal sitting at the bar. Worth the wait.

Upon entering we were made welcome, and the waiter service and food did not disappoint.A nice corner bistro - Italian Restaurant with sunlight streaming through its large windows. Popular for its homemade pasta. I had the Ravioli while my husband opted for the Stuffed Eggplant. The cellar includes 30 wines by the glass.

50/50 means owned and run by an Italian father and his daughter,with her husband in the kitchen.Very warm welcome, even if crowded, friendly service offering a variety of delicious pastas, pizzas, salads and some meat specialties.Home made deserts, try the frozen limoncellos.Good wine list at decent price.

We ate here with a small group of friends ...who very quickly become a LARGE group of friends with the owners & other customers of Il Gattopardo!! The food was delicious, authentic Italian, paired with wonderful, rare wines and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. When I think of authentic Italian food and ambiance ..this is exactly what I have in mind!! Grazie mille!!!!!

Visited for lunch and enjoyed a really good meal with attentive and professional service throughout. Tosca will have been open for some three years this summer and has a couple of set menus best ordered in the evening perhaps however our lunch of suckling pig was well prepared and with some ice cream and sorbets for dessert left us wanting to return again soon for dinner. The restaurant is just a little out of the way from the centre of Geneva and parking is not easy but it is worth making the effort. Not too many open wines which is a slight drawback at lunch but they served a couple of small tasting dishes before our main course which was a definite plus. Please note that there is a cafe / bistro which may be a good option for lunch where there is more emphasis on pasta dishes. I can quite understand that the restaurant has one Michelin star and I strongly recommend that you try Tosca out next time you are in Geneva either for lunch or dinner.

Waiters are so nice and kind. Menu is a bit short but you can order outside the menu as well, ask the waiters for options. Burrata and tomato was fresh and tasty. Ravioli is suberp! Goat kid is also niceExpensive but worth it

This is a quite ancient restaurant that was here even before the neighborhood started to slowly gentrify... no miracle: if the place is still here it's because it consistently serves simple and good food at reasonable prices. Pizzas were very good, with a nice thin crust and decent topping. Service is quick and efficient. Good address
